    I was not sure at first when I booked this but did not want to pay a fortune downtown for a room. Hotel is kind of hidden behind a gas station. Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Even asked a staff member to help me carry luggage downstairs. Breakfast is very basic but free. Muffins, cereal and apples. See tip on how to get downtown.     Clean hotel close to Canada’s Wonderland

    Hotel and room were very clean, check in staff were nice and friendly. Basic hotel, no amenities but for a place to sleep this is it! Only about 20 minute drive to Canada’s Wonderland, it was a perfect place for us to stay without spending a fortune.     Extremely rude member of staff. Called and tried to see if my booking through booking.com went through. He said we are not online and booked up. Confirmed the name and address of the hotel and told him to go to booking.com to see that the hotel is there with availabiltiy. He started yelling at me.     My daughter and I stayed there for a while.* Personnel: 10 / 10They were professional at its best. They were all presentable and very helpful.They were always happy to answer questions and help. Could not ask for more!Environement: 10 / 10The place is well kept and it was 'always' clean. They clean our rooms to prefection. Do not be fooled by inexpensive and low price. This place is just fine.

    My experience with this hotel was terrible from start to finish.

    For our recent trip, we opted to use Priceline’s “Express Deals” feature. The only requirement that we put on our accommodations was that we wanted breakfast to be included with our room.Upon completing our reservation for a mystery hotel with “breakfast included”, we found that we had been booked at “Canada’s Best Value Inn Richmond Hill”. I looked at reviews of the hotel, and found that there were reviews (less than a week old) claiming that the hotel did NOT have breakfast as promised on their website.I contacted Priceline, informing them of this & asked to be switched to another hotel, as their booking did not meet our criteria.Their rep called the hotel, and spoke with “Tony”. According to Tony, the hotel DID serve breakfast. 
OK then. That’s fine. Thanks for confirming.Fast forward to our first morning. The “breakfast area” had juice, coffee, and tea. That’s it. I asked the two men at the front counter if that was all they offered. They said “yes”. I asked if that was normal, and was told that it had been like this for the last couple years.Priceline has washed their hands of the matter, simply saying “what the hotel chooses to offer as breakfast is at their discretion”. The hotel chain’s parent company, RLH Corporation, also had no interest in following up, simply saying that they “would talk to the franchise owners” but that it was really “out of their hands”.We ended up having to buy breakfast for 4 people, for two days, which we were not planning on.I’m NOT impressed, especially since I went out of my way to confirm that breakfast was offered & was assured that it would be.Even if it weren’t for the breakfast issue, I would probably rate this hotel the same as I am.
The ceilings/floors were SO thin that we could hear EVERYTHING coming from the room upstairs. It sounded like they were moving furniture & stomping around… all night… very strange. It was so noisy that it was difficult to sleep.The parking lot was also a major problem here. The spaces were very tight, and there was not a lot of room between the two rows to maneuver our vehicle. Pulling into a spot meant inching forward & backwards several times… and then being VERY careful when opening our doors.The only thing this hotel had going for it was that it was fairly clean. The walls were a little grungy, but at least the beds seemed to be clean enough to sleep in.
