Together with my spouse for attending a reunion . We spent a total of three(3) nights in this hotel and would like to leave a few comments regarding our brief stay.We have a room on the third floor and was startled late in the evening (after midnight) with some unruly neighbors who were very noisy consecutively for two(2) nights. They have also a pet dog barking periodically and it was really annoying if you really want to have some sleep. Management was aware of this but very little was done to alleviate the problem.Other than that the room was clean and everything was in good order. The beds are of decent size and comfortable and they provide a lot of trash bins in the room for you to dispose of your unwanted items.We very much enjoyed our stay especially the location of the hotel was pretty good with Tim Horton just outside the hotel and many other eaterly right opposite the street including Thai, Chinese,Italian, etc. A Korean supermarket is also in the same complex rendering easy access to fresh grocery and others.Last but not least, a big shout out to Seakan who took care of our checkin and checkout with seamless efficiency , he is very courteous, knowledgeable, and it was a privilege to have his service.Dwight who took care of our stored carryons with the hotel suggested we took a snapshot of the receipt as a record which is very ingenious and logical. Both of them are a valuable asset to the hotel and looking forward to meeting up with them again soon. Located away from downtown, about 45 minutes by car on a good day. Across the street, a good selection of restaurants to choose from. The 3 elevators were very slow. The lobby has this strong perfume that they spray to probably hide the mustiness. The rooms were very dated. Old carpet. Old curtains. Old sofas. Old furniture. Parking is not secured and it's $ 20 per night. The staff were great. I asked for a nice room and couldn’t be more pleased. Clean, comfortable bed and bath. Spacious, Sliding door for fresh air. Easy parking. Staff have all been amazing starting with Bhavesh who checked me in. Other reviews made me nervous but for the price I find it excellent value. They dont even let you shorten your stay, if you book your trapped.

The room has stains, the aircon is noisy, the gym is outdated and some of the features like the tv in the machine do not work and on top of it all i had to shorten my stay (giving more than a week in advance) and they simply wouldnt let me. The Crowne Plaza Toronto, was the most horrific experience I have ever had at any hotel. I was a guest for 8 days, I spoke with the staff about having to extend my stay for another couple of weeks and was assured after leaving several messages with the GM on Friday September 4th after not returning any calls, that I could stay and management would call me by noon on Saturday the 5th of September to confirm the rate. I was told long term stays qualify for a discount. I called before noon at 9 am to speak with them. I was told to call back no one was there I called 2 more times before 10 am. No one called me at noon as promised. At 2 pm I was called and threatened by Anas Bandhukia that I must leave or he will call the police. I explained that I had been promised a call from management, and the name of the employee who promised the call and he was well aware I was staying. They had my credit card for any charges. Anas Bandhukia came and banged on my hotel room door in an very threatening way, and shortly after the police came and I was told I was "trespassing". I was given 40 minutes to leave. After spending thousands of dollars this is how you are treated by this hotel. I have never even heard of this happening to anyone else. Beware.
