    Mixed feelings

    rating26 Apr 2026

Mixed feelings about our stay. Lobby is modern and our reception agent, a gentleman, was extremely accommodating and kind. Felt we received a warm welcome. Our room had been updated however the noisy air conditioning window unit prevented a good night of sleep. It kept going on and off constantly. The temperature went from cold to too hot the whole time. Windows are sealed shut so,if you fancy some fresh air you are out of luck. Our king size bed was brilliant - so comfortable! The bathroom needed upgrading…who takes a bath in a hotel and this it looked dirty. The pool was questionable…big sports teams in the hotel (very noisy and disruptive). Pool water was steel-grey in colour and not clear and fresh as it should bd. The spa tub was much too hot. Would have appreciated an electric car plug-in facility for guests but there.

    Terrible Customer Service

    rating10 Oct 2025

Giving it 2 Stars because the lady who checked me in was nice. However, employees are not aware of their policies hence I was given wrong information. The hotel charges a pet fee for service animals which is a first for me and i was told no fee for service animals on the chat I had with the hotel. I requested for an early arrival and I was told there's a charge but again I was not aware as I was never charged by Marriott because I've been a Gold Elite member for how many years. It's also the first time I've done a bad review on google as I use this platform to praise good service. The employees at the front desk told me I was misinformed and they have to charge me. Attached will be videos of the room I got without complaints. The employees that I spoke to needs more Customer Service training. Even their managers lack interpersonal and service recovery skills.

    Nice overall

    rating30 Jun 2025

The room was updated and clean, the pool was kind of dirty when we went in there was even a bandaid at the bottom of the pool, but the water slide was fun. The views from the room is non existent as it’s in an industrial area. The breakfast was good.

Travelled to Brampton and this hotel specifically for the waterslide. Only to find the entire pool was closed.

    rating20 May 2025

We have stayed at this hotel many times. The waterslide is a huge hit with our two boys. They love it so much that we actually travel 2.5 hours just to go to this hotel for a few hours on the waterslide and in the pool. Which is exactly what we did this past weekend. It was a long weekend and we had no plans. It was the perfect opportunity for our night at the "waterslide hotel" as my boys call it. They were so excited only to be crushed to find out that the pool and water slide was closed. We checked in, went to our room and right away changed into our swim suits only to come down to a notice on the door that the pool was closed. Talk about devastated kids. It is extremely disappointing that not only were not not notified prior to driving 2.5 hours to this hotel, but we weren't even notified at check in. The pool was literally the only reason for our trip. The lady at the front desk was extremely apologetic. However, she only offered a credit of 3000 points. Paid much more than that for the hotel room, AND because we had two very upset boys we had to go drop over $120 at the trampoline park next door. Needless to say as a platinum member I am extremely disappointed with how that was handled and the lack of notification/reimbursement. We usually come once a year and we will not be returning. walid fawal, General Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Toronto Brampton, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for your feedback and we are so sorry for the inconvenience . Unfortunately we had last minute technical issue with our pool last weekend . Taking our guest safety always at the first place we were obliged to take this decision till issue is fixed .We look forward to welcoming you again so we can provide you with memorable experience Kindest regards

    Not enough parking

    rating02 Mar 2025

The hotel is located in an industrial area but close enough to major arteries. The room is basic and I can’t tell if it’s retro chic or outdated. There’s lots of outlets and USB outlets. We only had about 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The breakfast was typical. 24/7 coffee and tea station. Can we please offer enough parking spots for hotel guests, please? Although parking is free I had to park at the trampoline park next door. We were offered a super late checkout with no problems. walid fawal, General Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Toronto Brampton, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us.
