    Superior hotel

    rating06 Oct 2026

First class hotel, we paid for a Gold lounge room which included snacks and soft drinks on the 18th floor. Well worth the extra money to have a beautiful lounge to come back to serving tea/coffee and soft drinks all day. Room was large with lounge and a large bathroom, all the staff were super helpful and couldn’t help enough. Booked an excursion to the falls too from the hotel, simple and easy just outside the hotel, an amazing experience for our 4 day trip, thank you.

We stayed at the Fairmont Royal York for a week and had full access to the Gold lounge. A good variety of food and drinks were provided each day we enjoyed the luxury of the lounge with views of the city of Toronto. The staff in the Gold Lounge were highly professional and very attentive. We will definitely return and also recommend this hotel. Our sincere thanks to the whole Fairmont team here.

    Good.

Stayed for 2 nights. There’s a film festival going on when we were there so it’s understandably busy. The hotel is just across the train station, which is great for us for our train out of Toronto. Also very convenient to surrounding places of interest. The hotel is classy and grand, which is to be expected. Our room is nice and spacious. The breakfast was very good.
