Excellent stay in the Toronto area

We stayed at GLō Best Western Mississauga Corporate Centre for six nights in May 2026 while visiting Toronto and Niagara Falls, and we had a very positive experience throughout our stay.The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, and very well-maintained. Our room was comfortable, the beds were great, and the overall atmosphere felt fresh and welcoming. The location worked very well for our plans, especially for driving into Toronto, visiting Niagara Falls, and accessing Pearson Airport.What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. We also had the opportunity to meet the manager, who was very kind and clearly takes pride in running the hotel well. That positive attitude really reflected throughout the property.Breakfast was convenient and appreciated every morning, and the hotel overall offered an excellent balance of comfort, quality, and value.We would absolutely stay here again and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the Toronto area.

When I arrived at the hotel, the room had a very strong chemical odor that honestly smelled toxic. The mirror was also filthy and covered in fingerprints, which made it feel like the room had not been properly cleaned before I checked in. To make matters worse, the view from the window overlooked the garbage and dumpsters.I brought the issue to staff’s attention and left the room for a while hoping it would be taken care of. When I returned, the smell was still just as strong and nothing had been cleaned. I reported it again, but no one came to check the room and it did not seem like the concern was being taken seriously.After dealing with the smell for a while longer, I finally went down to the front desk in person to get someone’s attention. Once staff came up and smelled the room themselves, they agreed something was wrong and moved me to a different room.While the issue was eventually resolved with a room change, the initial condition of the room and the lack of urgency in addressing the problem made the experience very frustrating. The front staff was not kind to us. The housekeeper tried to help the best she could

Stayed two nights with my family. The facility is very clean and we had no issues with the room. The facility is in an airport flight path so if you are easily bothered by planes going by it might not be the place for you. I was with a bunch of kids who loved watching them go over us. The pool is quite deep after the stairs so if you have very young kids you should bring a floaty/be prepared to hold them. My kids are 9,7,6,3 - the 3 year old couldn't touch after the stairs. The only issue we had was that there was a REALLY long wait at breakfast for the waffles so if you want those you may have to get up early. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again in the future.

1. Staff: staff is very short and not friendly2. Breakfast: small and undercooked. If you like cooked food, not here3. Cost: somehow expensive4. Sleep: kids ran around screaming from 1am-4am both nights. Loud music and lot's of yelling. Did not sleep at all during those times5. Shower: low water pressure so you have to straddle the faucet just to get any water6. Safety: saw a drug deal in the parking lot when moving my car (you cant leave your car to charge, you have to move it within 10 minutes or face huge charges). The then tried to follow me into the hotel when I was getting back in. Staff did not care7. Airport: being near to the airport means loud planes landing all the time. Not the hotels fault but something to think about8. Fridge: stank and had old cheese in it. We stayed at the hotel for few days,the third day our kids went to swim and discovered that there was pieces of poop in the swimming pool,we went and asked about the manager,he was not there but his solution was that they will close the swimming pool and in the morning it will be clean,of course we didn't want to get in that pool again ,so we asked for a refund ,because we booked 2 more days before the incident happened the manager's response was they can't give us our money back,and the only reason why we choose that hotel is because if the swimming pool,so after a few calls he decided to give us our money back ,he was so unprofessional and doesn't know how to deal with customers.
