This city hotel is located within a few minutes walk of Toronto's key attractions such as St. Lawrence Market, Metro Congress Centre, the CN Tower, the Air Canada Center, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Roger Center (Sky Dome), Union Station, Exhibition Place and Eaton shopping centre. Countless restaurants are to be found in the near vicinity and it is 5 minutes’ walk to a selection of shops and bars as well as to a bus stop and railway station.

Facility

The hotel has 196 non-smoking rooms, including 106 single rooms and 86 double rooms, which are located on 14 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park.     Suitable, Wouldn’t Be My First Choice

    I was put in the Holiday Inn Express by a company I work with for one night in May of 2026. While not my first choice when staying in Toronto it is a fairly decent option for staying downtown. The hotel is fairly centrally located but not as well placed as some similarly priced hotels in the downtown core. If you’re not into walking (I enjoyed the walk) it’s a bit of a trek to the area around the CN Tower. I find you can get more for your dollar elsewhere in downtown. It is however nice and close, about a six minute walk to the St. Lawrence Market if you’re ready to eat everything in sight. That being said the staff was friendly, room was clean although a little tired and worn down and the hotel was quiet and calm even at night offering a nice respite in the middle of a busy city. If you’re on a budget but still want to fairly central then this is absolutely a viable option.     Hotel is excellently located toward downtown attractions. Room was clean, beautiful view. Laundry facilities there to do your own laundry, wash and dry for $5! Every single staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful! The breakfast included in room rate was top notch. This hotel is a gem and we loved our stay there.     Perfect Location- Easy Access to Attractions

    This hotel had more to offer than expected of one with the “express” tag. The location was perfect with easy access to all the great TO downtown restaurants and attractions. There was minimal disruption from the ongoing refurbishment of parts of the hotel. My room was spacious and well appointed (most likely one of the refurbished ones) with a great view of downtown landmarks and the cityscape.     Great hotel, awesome staff & super amazing breakfast !!!!

    1st stay at this hotel on 15-12-25; warm & pleasant reception upon arrival by Yordi as well as supervisor; IHG Rewards member & given comp upgrade to extra space room which was greatly appreciated! our KING room very modern & clean, keurig coffeemaker/fridge/microwave; spacious & comfortable sitting area & excellent choice of TV channels on FS TV; had a great restful sleep; secure underground parking $ ; breakfast offerings were many & outstanding, even guacamole/salsa/tortillas, homemade oatmeal, biscuits , great coffee etc; amazing cozy Italian restaurant with great vibe across street where we had awesome wood fired pizza & superb Caesar salad - Cafe Oro de Napoli; returning in January for another medical appt & already booked this same hotel! Staff were so pleasant & friendly also at our early 6:45 am check-out due to medical appt - wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy a more leisurely AMAZING breakfast!     Great hotel , lovely stay!

    Good stay for 4 nights while visiting the US!Rooms were clean with toiletries provided and all amenities were great.Location of this hotel is ideal if your city sight seeing or visiting any of the sports arenas or museums in the area and is only a 15min walk to the bus station to visit various areas such as Niagara Falls.Staff were good on reception and happy to help!Breakfast was a tad busy in the mornings, we tried various times during our stay and can’t say any of them were quiet but we put this down to it being over a weekend and busy due to lots of sporting events being on. Just a tip if anyone prefers a quick meal there is a vending machine near reception with microwave meals to purchase and can be heated up using the microwave in your room and snacks can also be delivered to your room via the handy robot in reception 😂We had a late flight back home but the hotel were happy to keep our bags for the day while we did some sight seeing and we used the lobby while waiting for our Uber.Would happily return back here for another stay!
