Booked via Hotwire. Room itself was oddly shaped, small but was fine. My view out wasn't anything impressive but the window did at least open. WiFi worked well. Room was clean and comfy. Shower was nice and hot, good pressure with Dove pump bottles. However I had NO washcloths. This hotel stays busy, but noise wasn't an issue. Its next to the Maple Leaf Gardens and so much more. They granted me a 12pm checkout. A bit pricey for what you got but it served its purpose. Good location in downtown Toronto, very close to métro station on same Line as Union Station.Room was clean and comfortable with tea coffee making facilities and bottled water replenished daily.Only complaint and its not fault of hotel, it was very noisy. We were at front on second floor and there was lot of traffic noise and revellers into early hours.Otherwise enjoyed our stay. We have stayed recently at both this Holiday Inn and the one down town in Montreal. This is the better. Nice gym and pool, clean rooms and great housekeeping. For our last night we were upgraded to a suite which earned them another point or at least a half point! Good bar and great location. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but it is excellent.Very helpful staff, we had an issue with the aircon being noisy in our room, so they moved us to a better room no problem. Great location, College subway station is 10 mins walk, great big comfy bed, good internet, good shower and an excellent breakfast, it really is in my top 3 breakfasts of hotels and the staff at breakfast were excellent. So overall a top hotel and reasonably priced for Toronto. Top tip eat at Frans Restaurant just down the road for an excellent Canadian diner experience, we recommend the strawberry milkshake. Our first time visiting this Holiday Inn. What a fantastic experience in such a great Toronto location. The service by every staff member we encountered was above and beyond. From check in to check out. The hotel is clean and inviting, the check in experience was quick and smooth, the front desk agent, Ash, went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend special. Every Holiday Inn team member was hard at work and was ready with a smile. The rate was so good without skimping on the quality. We can’t wait to visit again.
