This hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and guests will find the nearest restaurants and bars right on their doorstep. The King metro station is just a couple of metres away and it is within walking distance of many of the city's hotspots and attractions. The hotel was built in 1909. 39 single rooms and 17 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge.     Beautiful room and great location, walkable to everything. However, checking in and out, without a dedicated area to pull over or someone from the hotel to help you with your luggage, was frightening. The street is too busy for that type of drop off/pickup. No parking on site, so not ideal either. Although no fault of the hotel, construction is happening directly across the street and they start very early in the morning.     The ceiling light didn't work, there was a loose hanging wire, the window wouldn't open, and the view right outside was just a wall. Simply ugly, terrible—never again! The reception staff had no idea and provided no information about things to do in the local area! My complaint wasn't addressed; I was simply brushed off with the excuse that they were fully booked!!!+++++++++Deckenlampe funktionierte nicht, freihängende Leitung, das Fenster war nicht zu öffnen und ggü. , hinterm Fenster hatte ich eine Wand als Aussicht. Einfach nur uggly, schrecklich, NIE wieder! Keine Ahnung und Infos, was man in näherer Umgebung unternehmen kann vom Empfangspersonal! Auf Beschwerde wurde nicht eingegangen, sondern mit fully booked abgetan!!!
