  Great hotel stay

  Amazing hotel and staff just had a 5 night stay, all staff friendly, helpful and ready to help in any way a credit to the hotel especially Nathan in reception and Russell at breakfast - attentive, friendly and gave good advice for places to visit. Rooms immaculate, well stocked and a calm environment to return to at the end of the day. Easy access to city and shops make this a very good location especially for the baseball stadium- fully recommend a stay here- keep up the good work

  Disappointed.

  This hotel has a lot of historical meaning for my husband and I. Many years ago, it was our home away from home and we were here on a regular basis. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary here and were really excited. What a disappointment. It started with the so-called valet standing there doing nothing, letting us unload our bags ourselves. Barely a hello. Then came the impossibility to order any drinks or food before 5pm. The suite, while beautiful, is dark, with no proper light in the bathroom either. Impossible to do your make up unless you lean across the counter. The room had two tvs. None are smart tvs. Impossible to watch movies. It is 2026! How do you charge these prices for a luxury hotel room without the ability to watch movies in the room? We took a suite with balcony only to literally be seeing people in the next building on their beds and them equally staring at us. No view, no privacy and zero privacy with the balconies in the rooms on each side of us. The in-room dining lacks selection. They brought sparkling water when we asked for still, and the sommelier told us we were getting a blend cab and Sangiovese but it was a pure cab. Not much attention to details. Overall not Le Germain quality we were used to.

  We’ve stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions over the last ten years. The hotel charges top dollar but doesn’t deliver on the details The carpet in our suite was frayed at the edges. The lighting needs updatingOur room also faces another building so looking across an alley way into an office building It took forever to get hot water in the showerAnd last. We woke up at 5 am from garbage pick upOn the positive side. The bed sheets were crisp and inviting.   Great for a classy Toronto city break

  Very well located. Posh hotel atmosphere without being too stuffy.the room was exceptional; large and well appointed with a bath and shower and a bed more comfy than my own at home. Fair value. Spotless every day. We asked for a high room to escape the noise of the city and that was granted so every night was a great night’s sleep. They took in our bags before check-in as we arrived early. They held onto our bags until late as we had a late afternoon flight. Service couldn’t have been better, very attentive. We didn’t try their terrace or gym but it’s there if you need it.   Wonderful guest focused Hotel near the Toronto train station

  We booked a trans Canadian train trip with Vacations By Rail and VBR booked us at this hotel because the Fairmont was not avalible. We were very happy for the change it was a 5 minute ride from the train station. We found this hotel to be quiet .warm and inviting. The rooms are large, very modern and very comfortable. The entire staff was wonderful and made our stay very nice.
