  I’ve stayed at the Motel 6 shelter a few times over the past year. While it still has room for improvement, it has gotten better. Thanks to the supervisor and a few other staff, the place feels safer now. Drug use and criminal activity have gone down, and clients feel more secure. That said, there are still serious concerns. I was discharged for having a female in my room, which I accept was against the rules. However, it’s frustrating that some staff, particularly female staff, engage in unprofessional behavior like having dates with clients after work and having sex in the shelter without facing consequences. Clients have observed that a staff member named Teeka has been seen entering private areas like the laundry room, vacant rooms, and the office with a male motel staff member for sexual activity. This needs to be looked into, and proper conduct and accountability from staff must be ensured.

  This hotel is totally different than it was one year ago when I stayed there. although the rooms are dated, the problem is a lot of drugs and partying in the hotel. All I could smell was pot all night long I was on the main floor and the people above me sounded like they were having some sort of party banging on the floor all night I was booked in for three nights and left after one. Also not a very good area in Brampton anymore for your own personal safety. I would stay somewhere else.   Don’t stay at motel 6 in Brampton Ont

  I tried to make a reservation for an employee for one night with a late check in. First I was told they couldn’t hold a room because it was on a first come first serve basis. Then I explained that it was for an employee who was working late and I wanted to pay in advance. The woman on the phone said oh, in that case yes when I told her it would be a late check in, she said oh no we don’t do that. I tried to ask her several times what difference does it make when she checks in as long as I have paid the bill then she announces that there’s somebody in front of her who’s going to take the room and refused to answer me or give me any further information . This was one of the worst. Unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had and it’s a motel six, hardly worth the effort. I will never try to get a room there again there’s plenty of hotels that would be happy to have business with my company. Shame on her maybe the hotel needs to re-assess their staff that represent them.   For the price point you get what you pay for. Would like the Pet airing areas to be maintained better. Lots of pet droppings not picked up and no where to put the bags of you do clean up after your dog

  When we rolled in there were 2 police cruisers at the front entrance. When we checked in we were required to pay for our stay in multiple transactions which was annoying. Lady at the counter was nice though. The elevator feels like it’s going to die and you will be stuck there. When we got off the elevator there was a pile of garbage and an immediate smell of urine. When we got to the room it was pleasantly so that was a positive. Seems relatively clean in the room but there is no coffee maker which it did say was included. TV worked but isn’t very clear and the mini fridge looks like something melted on top of it. Washroom was ok but seemed to has burn marks on the bathtub and the air vent was so dirty the grime was pushing through. This was a business trip and we have stayed in many other hotels in the chain but wow extremely disappointed in the standards or lack there of at this one. Our second room we had was even worse 3rd floor smelled of cigarettes and urine, the floor in the room was sticky, the AC didn’t seem to function properly. Washroom was dirty, there was a whole in the laminate flooring. While the price seems good pay the little extra and find a different place to stay.
