Location

This city and business hotel is located in uptown Toronto, in North York, Ontario. Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 19-storey building with a lift and 260 non-smoking rooms.     The room was comfortable and quiet, and we slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, next to a mall and metro station. We had a pleasant stay.

    My 85-year-old mother stayed at Novotel Toronto North York from November 29, 2025 to February 1, 2026 while waiting for repairs to be completed in her condominium. What could have been a very stressful two months was made significantly easier because of the exceptional care provided by the hotel — especially the manager, Eric.There was some confusion and lack of attentiveness at check-in, which was disappointing given my mother’s age and accessibility needs. However, after speaking with Eric, he addressed the matter immediately and truly turned our experience around.From that point forward, he went above and beyond. He ensured my mother had an accessible room, arranged additional comforts such as a heater and an extra mini fridge, and regularly checked in to make sure she was safe and comfortable. His professionalism, empathy, and accountability made all the difference.The housekeeping team maintained excellent standards throughout her stay, and the restaurant staff were warm, patient, and consistently kind to her.We are incredibly grateful for the compassion shown during what was a difficult time for our family. I would confidently recommend Novotel North York and sincerely thank Eric and his team for their outstanding care.     Terrible Customer Service

    Terrible service, spoke to front desk, and emailed my concerns - ZERO response. I made a mistake and booked a night earlier than needed, was considered a “no show” and they gave our 2 double bed room away for the fri/sat night. But they had a solution, and gave my family a king with pullout, made it sound like I wasn’t being charged since they filled it Thurs night.If I’m being charged full price for 3 nights, I expect the room I paid for. My teenagers do not fit on a pullout couch. Yes it was my mistake, but something should have been done to accommodate us. If I had known I was being charged anyways, I would not have agreed to their “solution”.Parking was also a nightmare, our vehicle didn’t fit in the garage attached, and the hours of the garage across the street cost us a lot more than it should have.

    Absolutely perfect experience. Amazing room. Here on a course for 3 weeks with 20 people who loved the hotel. Rooms were very very clean, well laid out. Staff was amazing!Adam, Peth and Geonet made our stay incredible! Thank you!

    Don’t expect to feel valued as a platinum Accor ALL member

    I’ve noticed this can be the case quite often in North American Accor hotels and something Accor probably needs to look into. There is no valuing of the Accor All membership and you feel anything but special - especially when you’re platinum. We’ve now stayed in 6 Accor properties in North America and haven’t received a single complimentary upgrade (stays ranging from 2 nights - 6 during the week and weekends). For this one the room was old, dated and smelt musty. Towels were old and threadbare. Sheets were thin with holes. You get the gist. Drilling above our head started early in the morning and there was no warning from the front desk. Do they care? Clearly not. About all we can say is that it’s a good location.
