  They Lie about giving RMT receipts

  I booked what was advertised as an RMT massage and paid expecting to receive a proper RMT receipt for insurance purposes.Unfortunately, despite emailing the clinic 3 separate times, I still have not received the receipt or any response. At this point, I’m questioning the professionalism and transparency of the business.If you’re booking here specifically for insured RMT services, I would strongly recommend confirming in advance:the full name of the treating RMT,their registration number,and when/how receipts will be provided.Very disappointing experience overall.

Accordingly, my wife and I had booked a hotel room for the night, well in advance, and fully paid for.We had a wedding ceremony in the morning before arriving at the old mill for the Chapel ceremony. We were fully dressed in other wedding attire, with no wallets on our person. We had to come straight from the first ceremony for pictures at the old mill. My wife needed to get ready for the Chapel ceremony, which was all planned in advance with regard to timing. She needed to redress and shower, before having her makeup artist and hairstylist come up to the room.When I got to the counter, two gentlemen with absolutely zero humanity or understanding denied us into our room which was fully paid for, well in advance, as stated above. Their reason was because we did not have a physical credit card to place on file for incidentals, the card on file that was used to pay for the room was insufficient. I had also told them them my father would be coming in 10minutes to provide that for them. Still denied.It comes as a realization that corporations do not have anyone's best interest in mind. They had zero empathy, compassion, understanding, or basic emotional intelligence. It was sad and pathetic, to say the least. I would never stay here again, never recommend it to anyone to stay, and will always have a negative opinion to any and everyone I meet, who inquire about the stay.Don't forget, the old mill hotel will always choose their corporate policy over you; no matter how trivial or petty the reason. Even on your wedding day. You are nothing but a paying customer, nothing else. An expensive, paying customer as well. This was the only negative experience for our wedding day. It also came at a peak time of stress during the day. If anyone ever asks how my wedding day went, I will say that everything was perfect, except for the old mill hotel. It was a horrible, terrible, experience.

  I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.it was nice and quiet, the neighborhood was nice , i went for a great walk along the riverside path system.it is very close to the subway station, so easy to head downtown to the concert i was attending.the restaurant had a fantastic breakfast, some great eggs benny, one of which went flying off the plate as the girl turned too fast! lol some early morning entertainment with my coffee.

  Great Hotel Stay while visiting Toronto

  Just stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to Toronto. Booked this off of prior reviews. Hotel did not disappoint. The front desk staff were very friendly upon check in. They explained where to go across the street for free parking. Our car was safe and never left the garage during our stay. Front desk answered our questions about the subway. Old Mill subway station is right by the hotel and we were in the city in 20 mins. After a long day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to the serenity of this hotel. We walked to Bloor street one night and ubered back since it was pouring rain. The Uber was about $7 CAD. There is a bar and restaurant on site which was very good for a drink and dinner. There was also a park close by for walking or jogging. Hotel was clean and beds comfortable. Room was spacious with a small frig and complimentary water bottles. Decor is old world charm which we liked over some modern hotels. Price was much lower than city center hotels and like I mentioned free parking. I would stay here again.

  The Old Mill Hotel + Spa was a charming stay and overall experience. The Old Mill neighborhood is beautiful and right alongside the Humber River - if you don’t mind a hilly walk there is plenty to explore within blocks of the hotel - you’re also conveniently located just around the corner from the subway, which is easy to navigate right into the heart of the city! You’re also a short 10-min drive away from Lakefront, where the Humber meets Lake Ontario - pretty walking paths, lookout points for the skyline, and free parks/beaches. You can also walk here by just following the river if you have the time!! The hotel itself was great! The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and our room was beautiful. The intentional decor takes you back into another time and it felt like a treat, just something warmer than the coldness of all the current modern lines of chain hotels. Absolutely loved that the windows looked out to lush forest and trees, allowing some privacy while also being able to keep the room full of light. Lastly - I did a hot stone massage at the in-hotel spa and had a wonderful experience. I was lucky to get assigned to Krystyna and she made everything very comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, would definitely return and felt the experience of Old Mill was perfect to relax, unplug, and still be conveniently located to everything you could want in a visit!
