    Stay FAR away

    rating24 Aug 2025

Horrible. Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel double charged me for my stay (after they cancelled my reservation and I called their hotel - they told me I had to rebook). Then there was no luggage cart (How does a hotel not have a luggage cart especially when the property is as large as this). Then our toilet did not flush properly so we asked for help but was told there was no maintenance person on duty. We were then told we could change rooms BUT it was 2 floors below and further possible point from our room. With no luggage cart, it easily took us 5 trips to get everything to our new room. Stay far away from this place. Terrible customer service, terrible amenities (no luggage carts - again how is that even possible, no ice machine).

    Nice place, great value!

    rating18 Jun 2023

If you are staying for only a night or two, this place would be great. If longer, you might need to pre plan so you have what you need. The room was great. Two bedrooms, a kitchen with fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower. Very clean and updated! Unfortunately no cable television (would have been nice to watch some tv in the evening). You can get certain items from the front counter like irons, hair dryers, etc.(these are not in the room)Also no continental breakfast. There was coffee but when I asked for cream, I was told, the coffee machine was run by someone else. The front counter staff were pleasant and accommodating. I’m assuming students of the college staff the hotel.I gave it a 4 star because of the lack of cable and continental breakfast.

    Brampton's basic accommodation!

    rating19 Mar 2019

Halls of residence, reminded me of university accommodation - very basic - so do not expect much. However if a big group staying then cheap and cheerful, you can make the most of it. Near to the shops and amenities and a central location. CarribbeanDreaming, Director of Sales at Residence & Conference Centre - Brampton, responded to this review Thank you ChanderK37, we hope to see you again in our student residences in the summer time :) David CarrollSales Manager

    Comfortable Stay

    rating26 Jun 2018

This is a dorm style room. Two Bedrooms, small kitchen. Daily service to refresh the rooms. The towels are thin but changed daily. There is a refrigerator and microwave, however you will need to bring in your own utensils, plates, paper towels, dish towels etc. Both rooms have a TV, bed and desk. There is coffee, tea and apples in the lobby @ breakfast. One huge problem is the handicap issue. You can pull up to the front door to unload, however the handicap parking is a distance away from the building. When checking in if you need a room close, be sure to tell them or you may receive one far in the corner away from the elevators. The rooms are not painted after the students leave, so where they had things hung on the walls, it is a mess. I found the beds to be comfortable. We stayed 4 days. There are no immediate eating places without driving, a huge grocery store is available down the street to stock the room for your stay. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a day staff person who had no personality and not helpful during our stay. I would go back here, it is very central for my visits with family and friends. Cold Room! Not what I expected.

    rating24 Jun 2018

Front entrance not clearly marked from parking lot. Check-in was fast although lobby area looked more like a college dorm. Room was ok but looked like students had stayed there with the left over markings on the walls from pictures/posters being on them. Room had only been cleaned that day. Advised rooms cleaned once a week. Extremely cold in room and extra blankets didn't help. Spoke to front desk about issue. Handy man tried regulating the temperature to no avail. Came back with the smallest space heater known to mankind which was fine for working at the desk but nowhere else. Like staying in a room during winter with no heat. Had booked 5 days and left after 3. Last days refunded after calling hotels.com regarding issue. No frills and be expected to clean your own room. CarribbeanDreaming, Manager at Residence & Conference Centre - Brampton, responded to this review Hello Cathy. Thank you for your points of interest for us....it definitely helps to hear the good and negative items during your stay.
