Location

The hotel is located within driving distance of Paramount Canada's Wonderland, and the Wild Water Kingdom. Shopping venues are 5 minutes away, and bus and rail links are 20 minutes from the hotel by car. Lester B. Pearson International Airport is 5 km from the hotel and there is a 24-hour complimentary shuttle service.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 137 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     Had a very short stay the night before heading off for vacation to shorten my commute to the airport. I have nothing but great things to say about this property and their staff! I had the pleasure of very quickly meeting the general manager, Jenn while she was at the front desk, and she was an absolute delight. She has an incredible team at this property and I would highly recommend staying here!

    Chanell we will come back because of you

    First off, we were greeted by an amazing young lady Chanell. She was friendly and informative. Each encounter with her was grand. Out first room ran into the fireplace not working after we unpacked. It made a difference in the temperature, due to it being winter season. We decided we would make due, although Chanell sent the maintenance man right away. The maintenance man was unable to get the part until Monday. I went to front desk manager who made sure I knew that I was on Friends and Family, which had absolutely nothing to do with the fireplace not working. I said I will give you a chance to offer some king of compensation, which she passed on to Chanell. 2nd incident, i got woke up after 12:00 am shaking from the cold because my family couldn't get the heat to work, I passed out tired. They had started moving everything to a new room, Thank Goodness, because I felt the freezing cold as soon as I was awakened. We got settled in the new room, finally able to have heat and rest. Thank you Chanell, and Marriott Toronto.

    Convenient location within walking distance of several restaurants for lunch or dinner. Nice breakfast buffet is included with the room rate. An older hotel, but clean and well kept. Pleasant staff. A lot more reasonable than staying in the city. A good spot.

    Another tired airport area Marriott brand

    This property is adequate if you need a decent, relatively large room near the airport for a night. But this is not up to the standards of better Residence Inn properties I've stayed at.Similar to other RI locations, this brand seems to be a beacon to youth sports teams. That invariably means unsupervised kids running through the hotel hallways at late hours, and my stay was no exception. The noise disrupted our sleep both nights of our stay. Our room, while clean, was worn, with stained upholstery, stained bed linens and a faint, off-putting smell permeating the room. My son complained that the sofa bed wsd in bad shape.We will not be returning to this property on future stays in the area. Our associates regularly patrol the building to ensure that our guests are not interrupted, but occasionally some of the youngsters cannot contain their excitement.     We stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott, Toronto Airport on July 16 after a successful reunion and a 5 day tour of Montreal, Quebec and Niagara Falls. We called Marriott to ask if they had a shuttle from YYZ to Marriott and the answer was 'No, we don't but you can take an Uber or a cab and we will reimburse you." Upon checking in, at about 6 pm, we showed them the receipt of the Uber - $53.50 and cab ride - $50 and the lady (I did not get her name) immediately says, that we have to send an email to frontdesk@residenceinntorontoairport.com. I sent the email Jul 17 and followed up Jul 19, still no answer. Today, Jul 23, I called and spoke with Sorona, Purdit and May. May informs me that, first - Marriott is unable to give me a refund because we have already checked out. Second, the maximum refund is $28 per ride. May says this is the policy. But if the Customer did not receive the complete information to make an informed decision, then policy takes a back seat. I am usually for happy with Marriott, but not this time. needless to say I did not get my refund. May has been working to resolve this but we do need the details that have been requested.We require complete receipts in order to process any reimbursement. Since you were not a registered guest we have no means to reimburse you without a method of payment.
