Location

This hotel is located directly in the centre of Toronto, not far from the Eaton Centre shopping mall and an underground/ overground station. The train station, Union Station, is about 10 minutes by public transport. Ontario Art Gallery lies some 400 m from the hotel, the CN Tower about 1.6 km and the harbour approximately 2 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 1392 non-smoking rooms, including 75 suites and 75 single rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 37 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard amenities in the rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and golf are available. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 2 non-smoking restaurants. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For dinner, guests can order à la carte. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Recently stayed here as part of a holiday to celebrate my 60th.We were able to check in a few hours early without charge and we're given a room upgrade!Overlooking Nathan Square on 20th floor our room had a lovely view of the city skyline.Front staff very accommodating Bed quality excellent Breakfast offering excellent Location was near to main attractions.Only reason not to give it 5 stars was the constant loud music playing even at 2am!     Great location and outdoor pool

    This hotel ticks alot of boxes. The location is fantastic. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to Union Station. It took a taxi to Union for about 10 dollars. The double queen room was spacious and comfortable. In room coffee and disposable cups and glasses are a bit sad. The hotel is in a great location. The eaton centre is very close. There are many great restaurants close by. I highly reccomend little india just about a 5 minute walk west on queen. The best part of this hotel is the large pool deck with many chairs. While I was there in early may and did not use them I can imaging this would be a wonderful place to relax on a hot summer afternoon. I did enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool. It was pretty cool to swim outside in May and look up to see all those big buildings.     I had not stayed here for a few years, missed the renovations that were very well executed througout the hotel.Perfect location, evrything is within walking distance.Sat through a fire alarm yesterday and was so impressed by the speed and professionalism of the staff. Fast reaction,everyone wearing a safety vest. No hiding, no vanishing management...full out "here we are, how can I help, regular updates, have a bottle of water". How people you trust with your well being behave in a time of emergency says more about them than a cookie in your room. I was super impressed. Needless to say, I trust this hotel.     Good Stay At Sheraton -- But Not Overly Rest Filled

    This was our fourth visit to this hotel since 2023. On this sojourn, we stayed at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel from March 19th to March 22nd. We brought our dog and we all thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere for dogs. We used the gym several times which is quite good, and we swam in the pool a few times, which was also very enjoyable and not too crowded, despite our stay during the tail end of March break. We utilized valet parking which was efficient and ate breakfast and dinners at the affiliated restaurant and we found the food to be of high quality. What we did not enjoy -- we understand this hotel hosts several conventions, BUT we had an AA gathering all weekend in a "convention room" just four doors down from our room on an upper/middle floor. This made for constant noise of people coming and going and with an open convention door, and our room just off from the elevators, we noticed constant noise. Secondly, we were awakened on Friday night between 12:30 and 1 a.m., by some men yelling back and forth at each other on our floor, trying to start a fight. Thirdly, we again woken up Saturday afternoon, when trying to nap, by a fire alarm, so we opted to leave the hotel and took our dog for a walk. Alarms happen; however, on Sunday morning between 5:00 and 5:30 a.m., we were jolted awake by a second fire alarm. We did not have to vacate our room, but the duration of the safety announcement and alarm meant that instead of us sleeping to a reasonable time, we could not go back to sleep and had to drive back to home on Sunday morning feeling completely drained and not well-rested. On other caveat, with respect to people attending conventions... we understand that some stay in the hotel. The problem is permitting "convention rooms" to be spread out on multiple floors means that non-convention guests must wait up to 25 minutes for an elevator on every use.     Our Family has travelled everywhere, and still this hotel is our FAVORITE with the BEST SERVICE we have ever received anywhere!Thank you again for another incredible stay!
