Location

This hotel is the only one at Toronto’s Pearson airport. A covered, air-conditioning skywalk links the hotel to Terminal 3 whilst the new Automated People Mover connects the hotel to Terminal 1.

Facility

The hotel has 474 rooms, including junior suites, suites, 254 single rooms and 96 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation.     Splurged.... I can't complain about this room (top priced room). Telescope, radio to listen to airport, clean, comfortable king bed. AC excellent, no noise. Linens both bath and bed were white and in good condition. Chesterfield set up was comfortable with plenty of room. View of terminal 3 planes. No noiseLounge evening canapés and drinks good. Server excellent. It gets busyBreakfast in lounge adequate and tasty. It was busy.Train to terminal 1 was working and very easy to use from hotel.Once again I can recommend this hotel.

    Great start and end to vacation

    We had stayed previously and I had not reviewed. We returned for our March break trip we had an early flight so we stayed the night prior and we had a midnight flight home so we stayed again once back. The first night we checked in around d 3pm our room was ready and we headed up. We requested an extra blanket. The blankets are duvets not thin blankets. The room is very quiet cannot hear the planes or neighbours. Our room had the tram right outside the window and it was quiet. We stayed after our trip we arrived around 1am we asked if we could have a late check out which they extended it by 1hr. We asked for the extra blanket again and were shocked by how quick they brought it. In the morning I went to grab our daughter a quick breakfast the Starbucks counter I asked if there were bagels and the woman said no but the restaurant could make me one she asked the waiter and he grumpily snapped at her ‘were closed’ there was still 10mins remaining on breakfast and it was a bagel. The woman apologized and offered me a croissant which I gladly accepted. The hotel is expensive but worth every penny as it’s right at terminal 3 it could not be anymore convenient for off hour fights. We would never book early flights for the inconvenience but this hotel has changed that.

    Location is perfect for an early flight (directly in Terminal 3 and linked through a shuttle leaving every 2 minutes to the main terminal 1 of Air Canada). The wait time for checking in was not short and there was an issue with the batteries of my door forcing me to come back to reception twice, but housekeeping immediately came (as promised) and fixed the issue. Functional and I will be repeat visitor here.
