    Great hotel near Vancouver airport.

    I recently stayed at the Abercorn Hotel. Even though the hotel is older it is clean, comfortable and quiet. My room was in very good condition and the complimentary breakfast was good. I appreciated the free shuttle and like that it runs every 30 minutes as it was very easy to get to the airport and catch the Skytrain to downtown. There is a very good Asian restaurant in the building and even a Costco across the street. Checking in and out online made for an easy experience as well. The staff are kind and courteous.     Not good value for money

    Poor shuttle experience. Had to wait almost 30 minutes and shuttle only arrived after two calls. Drop off not ideal either. Driver knew we were taking the sky train but dropped us off with only an announcement and did not provide even brief directions to the sky train station. We went into the airport terminal only to be told it was across the road. The bathroom floor was not cleaned properly, dirt and stains clearly visible. Strange that the toilet does not have a lid, that can be unsanitary. Lady at check out was unfriendly and even rude when asked a question. Her responses were curt and abrupt.     Clean HOTEL that is OK as long as you don't have to call the front desk, then they are RUDE

    RUDE front desk. Don't let them tell you they are having phone issues, they have attitude issues. Clean hotel and close to the train that was easy to take to the cruise port.     Checks the Boxes!

    Absolutely did the job for our overnight stay before heading to cruise terminal. It checked all the boxes. Airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast and great price. Only giving four stars as it is not a five star hotel. A bit dated but the room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable and has a very large washroom. If you have mobility issues the shower is a challenge as you have to step up two steps into a large soaker tub and then out. Overall a good stay and would happily come back.     Pleasant stay at the Abercorn Hotel, April 2026.

    I have stayed at this boutique hotel many times. It has very friendly staff, well appointed rooms, and a very interesting Scottish theme. You could have a history lesson just by reading all of the documents and posters adorning the public hallways. It is close to YVR airport and has bus stops right outside that connect to the Skytrain system going anywhere in Vancouver (the Bridgeport Skytrain station is also just a 10 minute walk if you don't have suitcases).
