  Nice Hotel with Great Staff!

  When my wife and I were dating thirty-one years ago, we used to steal away to this hotel for weekends in Vancouver. We moved across the country and returned for the first time last week. It is so good to see that not all things decline over time. This Accent Inn is fresh and updated and a great place to stay. It is close to the airport, obviously, but also to great food and shopping in the Richmond area. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. TV, microwave, and nice shower. Plenty of storage space, desk, and lounge chair. The best thing about The Accent Inn, however, is its people. From front desk to cleaning staff, everyone we met was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. I needed to update a document for a meeting and the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to make sure the computer and printer in the lobby were signed in and working properly. They didn't charge for the two pages printed, either, which is unique in my experience. The hotel is convenient, but its people make it home.

  I loved my stay! I booked a one night airport stop over to go see a concert. Airport shuttle back and forth to the hotel/ back to the airport to catch the train downtown was super easy and convenient.Room was great, unlimited in room and lobby coffee provided. Vibe of the place was welcoming- someone young who knows the value of the little things must have been hired for the marketing as i noticed so many little perks to this place from the cute sayings on the benches outside, to the rubber duck branded mugs, and the take home themed rubber duck left in the room was a real cherry on top that other stays don’t provide or even think of Staff were extremely nice at check in, easily accommodated my request for an hour extension to the check out time, once in my room i received a text from the company ensuring my stay was going well, i responded that it was and i would be back to get more coffee since i was tired, they replied quickly with no problem and i was welcome to as much coffee as i needed,Later that night i stayed out later than expected and since i had already been in communication with the hotel i decided to text them asking for an hour extension to my already extended late checkout, they said no problem, which was a relief and i appreciated not only their extension but also their quick reply and that i could ask right in the moment via text before committing to later unexpected plansThis was such a great stay and very convenient for my one night side quest, i was super impressed with the thought and little extra attention to details, i enjoyed the check in via text to ensure everything was going good, and i appreciated the late checkout as well as the quick response after hours via text to extend my late checkout I will definatley stay here for my next overnight quick trip to Vancouver

  The Accent Inn The room was clean the beds however need to be replaced if you sleep on the edge it’s fine but if you move from the edge you sag into the middle. There’s a coffee machine and kettle in the room but no coffee or tea supplies so be forewarned you need to bring your own.When I booked I didn’t scroll far enough down the list of hotel amenities because I missed the part that said I was supposed to pre book our car for a longer stay I wasn’t informed about the cost on the website but apparently to leave your vehicle it’s a charge of $10.00 a night. I only scrolled far enough to see free parking and shuttle to the airport .My reservation also states if I’m to arrive after 9pm to let them know in advance which I did on the morning we left for our trip but was told not to worry about it. The shuttle service to and from the airport was great the driver friendly. Return trip we had a king room again the mattress wasn’t perfect but better than the first stay. This time at check in we were asked if we’d like coffee or tea for the room. Apparently you’re supposed to ask for coffee or tea for your room. We ended up paying an extra $190 in taxes and service fees. Thanks for letting us know so we can replace the mattress.I am disappointed to hear that the guest service agent who checked you in forgot to offer you coffee. We will follow up with them. We do understand the importance of that first cup in the morning and hope you accept my apology for our team dropping the ball there.Despite a few issues on your first stay we are stoked that your triumphant return was better received.   This hotel has a charming motel-like appearance, with exterior doors. It was clean, quiet, and very pleasant. It’s a great place to stay overnight before a cruise, and the hotel staff was very helpful in planning our day in Vancouver before our departure. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for an overnight stay before a cruise.
