  Wanted a clean , reasonable place to stay for a show at the Pacific Coloseum and was amazed how many positive changes had been done to the property and are still on going. Our room was so clean, and certainly updated since our last stay in 2015. Staff were so friendly and professional and the price was very fair especially seeing as it included buffet breakfast. I'm a healthy eater so I really appreciate a full buffet with so many choices. The scrambled eggs, sausage and hashbrowns were hot and enjoyable , also cold cereal , toast, bagels, waffles for toasting, apple strudel, yogurt fresh fruit juice and tasty strong coffee that will keep you eyes open for the day! Food service area was immaculate so much so I felt guilty for the few crumbs I dropped on the floor. That kind of value for money is really great, and of course we made sure to leave nice gratuities for the staff.   Disappointing stay

  We stayed here over the weekend, and unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. Parking was confusing at first, you have to drive around the back of the building, and if the 15-minute check-in parking is full, you’re left trying to figure out where to go. There’s also an additional charge if you want to use their secure basement parking.We were assigned room 427, which, surprisingly, wasn’t clearly marked anywhere. My husband had to go back down to ask for help. It would have been helpful if the staff had explained where to go ahead of time.Another disappointment was that the hotel is still being remodeled, and the website never mentioned this. Unfortunately, our room was right next to the construction area which we can clearly hear in the morning.The swimming pool was also unavailable, there was no clear information about it. All we saw were tiles, and it appeared to still be under construction.The night before we checked out, there was also a disturbance a couple of rooms down, someone was screaming, and there was a lot of commotion. Police and security responded but didn’t stay long.The hotel is pet-friendly, but there is a $35 CAD fee per night. The continental breakfast was okay, nothing special, but decent enough.On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants and even a Starbucks just a few steps away. The staff was also friendly, which is the main reason I’m giving this one star.That said, the room itself is big but the bathroom looks dirty and unfinished. The kitchen was missing basic items like paper towels or a dish towel, and there was nowhere to dry dishes.Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.   Great location, very nice rooms. Even though they were renovating you didn't hear anything. Very accommodating. Continental breakfast was ok. There are a lot of amenities nearby.
