    Itis an older hotel and shabby. I am a business traveller and a Diamond Select elite with Best Western. I am not sure when staff came on but they are lazy and rude. I always travel Best Western and this time I forgot my sweater not a big deal I remembered as I was on the park and ride bus.. unfortunately Best Western local phone line was down so I sent an email in detail where I left the sweater and my room details My Best Western info etc Addition to that I gave a very detailed description of the sweater a very expensive Canadian brand so I wanted to retrieve it. I then contacted the corporate office by phone same description no big deal I got a case number. I went to my trade show waited for an email for a day or so and I never received any in from you. anything. I tried the local number f it worked. Spoke to the front desk and was told we never received anything . I asked if she could check the emails and I was told they are too busy for that. I said ok can you find out if you have my sweater and I gave her all the details location left description. She came back 10 min later nope not there. You probably have it or left it somewhere else. I told her I hadn’t and I wanted to get it back and to get a manager involved and she told me not to be rude to her? Which I was note and I just wanted my sweater back.So 2 days later she calls and tells me we are so sorry we found it all of a sudden we didn’t know you were a diamond member and very apologetic. I said thank you and I would pick it up Friday evening late after my flight she got snippy again. So I go to pick up my sweater 11 pm after my flight and I am getting attitude again I told them my name my room number and that I was here to pick out the brand as well if my sweater. I am tired and just wanted to go home. I see my sweater and they put it on the desk and I said thanks and go to grab it and the girl snatched it out of my hand Well not so fast you better show me some ID I am like who else’s would come for this? I said I have been working all week to get this sweater back and the second girl says well it’s your fault you forgot it. Wow! Do the original girls says well if you want it you have to sign here and I did and took the sweater. I truly believe a housekeeping person was trying to keep for themselves and would have if I had not escalated the situation.After reading all the other rescues including the one about the break and enter and the manager never even called the police this is not a place I. Would ever stay again and highly warn others not to stay there.To the manager that I know roll comment it comes from the top down you are the problem and the staff is a reflection of you. We did received your call and this was picked up on May 22nd, only after 2 days after your check out. At the time of pickup, we asked you to sign as a proof of pickup which was refused at first. We are sorry to ask you to sign but we do require proof of pickup. Furthermore, we offered at checkin a free upgrade and no other concerned were recorded in our system.during your stay. Thank you.

    Clean rooms and great location, but accessibility is an issue

    The rooms were clean, spacious, and the location near the airport is very convenient. The shuttle service was also excellent and reliable. However, the property has significant accessibility and parking challenges. There is no adequate parking at the front of the building. To park in the back, you are forced to either carry your luggage down stairs or haul it along the public street sidewalk. It is not an accessible setup for anyone with heavy bags or mobility needs.

    Overall it was a good experience. Rooms are outdated. Parking fees were extra, I did not expect to pay for parking. Good coffee machine in the lobby. The staff tried hard to make it a comfortable stay, I have to give them credit that they did their best.

    Not so reliable night shuttle service, waited 40mins for the shuttle at the airport, when calling the hotel reception staff keep ignoring or put on long hold, very frustrating Management at Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport, Guest Services / Front Office at Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel, responded to this review Dear C8533Kddanielg,We do apologize if felt waiting for the shuttle was too long, but our shuttle runs every 30 minutes and it also depends on traffic condition at tha time. We do also apologize if you were place on hold, as often one of our front desk agent takes the time to help our guests as we do our best to provide great service to each guest.     STAY AWAY, the manager is unhuman

    As a hotel owner myself for over 15 years with 9.5 rating in agoda. I understand how to keep customers. WORST experience I have ever experienced here. STAY AWAY!!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the manager have no empathy for handicape guests. We book a room that was not handicap family as my dad is in the wheel chair. even through we stated clearly my dad is handciape. As we arrived, the room was not suited for my dad. Regardless, we showed up and due to hotel not able to meet our need and we could not stay. We lost full 100% booking and say nothing we can do. Bad and wost customer service. stay away!!!!
