Location

This hotel is located in Vancouver city centre, on the edge of Yaletown. Restaurants, bars, and links to the public transport network can be found directly in front of the building. The nearest tourist centre, a colourful variety of shops, and the famous Robson Street can be found about 300 m from the hotel. It is about a 10-minute drive to the beach, the GM and BC Stadium, and the Canada Place cruise ship terminal. The town of Richmond lies around 10 minutes away on foot.

Facility

150 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 15-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Complimentary newspapers are available. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

    The young lady working the front desk, I believe her name starts with M or G, is AMAZING at her job. So polite, professional, patient and welcoming, in an authentic & genuine manner. Her efforts did not go unnoticed. I have stayed at many Best Westerns across North America, this one is pretty standard. My 15th floor room had a stunning view and was pretty well appointed. I'd rate the cleanliness of my room 4/5, so it wasn't great, but not poor either. Location is about as central downtown Vancouver as one could ask for in a safe (but loud) area.

    Great place near Commodore Ballroom 🎵

    This was the perfect hotel for what we needed. We had booked a quick weekend trip to Vancouver and were attending a show at the Commodore Ballroom. Location couldn’t have been better for that. Also very close to yaletown which you find some very tasty restaurants/cocktail bars as well as coffee shops and boutique shops. It’s about a 25 minute uber ride from the airport.     Great Weekend Getaway

    Perfect location. Very walkable and lots to explore downtown. We did the hop on hop off which gave us the lay of the land. If tired, the taxi fares are probably the cheapest I have ever seen so that was a great option for getting around. This location was also safe to walk at night but wouldn't recommend going off too far outside the daylight.
