Location

This hotel is located at the foot of the majestic North Shore Mountains, and is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the city centre. In addition, it lies near Grouse Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lonsdale Quay, Lynn Canyon, and the Salmon Hatchery. From the hotel, guests have easy access to Highway One and can therefore easily travel from north Vancouver to west Vancouver, Vancouver city centre, and Burnaby. The hotel also lies on the route of the public bus number 239, which travels from north to west Vancouver. The bus stops at the Sea Bus terminal, where regular sailings to central Vancouver are available.

Facility

The hotel has 35 junior suites, 45 suites and 101 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. Further amenities include a washing machine, an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can stay up-to-date thanks to the daily newspaper provided. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms.     Safe, Convenience & Met All Our Needs

    Great stay! We were in room 421. Trees covered our view but we didn't mind the privacy. Hotel is very safe. At night, white lights lit up the waterfall and trees. The window opened slightly to get fresh air and the sound of the (man-made) water fall was incredibly relaxing! Yes, it is a bit dated but it had everything we needed - comfortable Queen sized beds, kitchenette, plenty of complimentary parking, pool, sauna, small gym, restaurants on the property, liquor store and laundry facilities. The hotel was conveniently located (by car) to Grouse, Capilano, Lynn Canyon downtown Vancouver and the Shipyards. The room's kitchenette was handy. There is a Superstore a short walk from the hotel. Kitchenette included toaster, two-burner counter-top stove, microwave and mini refrigerator Note: you have to request a kitchen package where they will deliver plates, cutlery, pots and pans to your room. If I could give one suggestion: it would be a nice touch if reception said hello when you walk by or even look up and acknowledge you as a guest. Not a deal breaker but a nice gesture that should be part of the service industry.
