    This place is simply excellent for the price one pays in Vancouver. Our room had an amazing kitchen with all required appliances. The beds were comfortable. The location is simply fantastic - close from everywhere. It is just across the road from the large green area overlooking the shore. There are tons of restaurants and shopping places at walking distance. Look no further if you are in Vancouver.

    It was as expected, small reception area ( but they do free coffee/ tea fo residents). Corridors are quite dark but room was big, bathroom clean, kitchen area fine. Beds have old fashioned bedspreads on them but the area is fine for restaurants and getting around. Of course you have the crowds for the sunset each night, but very walkable area. You get a discount at the restaurant next door. We didn't find it too noisy and it suited us for 2 nights before our cruise.

    Very disappointed with my stay. Water leaking in the lift, stained carpets and sofas, sticky surfaces, peeling paint, and a bad odour in the rooms. The whole place felt poorly maintained and unclean. Wouldn’t recommend until major improvements are made.

    Great location but very dirty hotel common area and rooms. Shoes stick to the carpet and hard surface floors.     I can’t fault the view but the hotel is definitely in need of renovation & updating but if you want cheap & cheerful in a fabulous location go for it just keep expectations to a minimum.I think the thing I didn’t like is the windows were dirty & it was so tired &it was literally on its knees
