  Great hotel, great staff, great location.

  Great, central location, a short, smooth walk from Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal. Beautiful rooms, great staff. We arrived from our Alaska cruise and left our luggage while we walked to Gastown. After we checked in that afternoon, we walked the seawall to Stanley Park totems poles. We stayed one night and left our luggage after we checked out just before noon. We walked to the Vancouver Art Gallery and vicinity on our rainy departure day. After dinner nearby, we spent about an hour in the quiet room near reception getting organized, arranging our checked and carry-on luggage, and resting before our 11:30pm flight. Such lovely accommodations and helpful staff.   Excellent hotel - great location, room, and staff

  We had a great two nights here, and would stay again. It was a transit for us on our way back to NZ - it's in a great location to everything you need to see and do in Vancouver, the room was modern, clean and well presented, with a very comfy bed. Our corner room was cosy and well appointed with everything we needed. All the staff (from cleaners, concierge, reception) are extremely nice helpful and communications prior, during and after was helpful.I needed to do a 3 hour work conference call, and even though there is a desk and space in the room, didn't want to limit the use of it for my husband - so they have a business centre room that you can book out and is well set up. Love the refit, history of the building, efficient rating and what it stands for, and also the reception / games room.   A cold night in Vancouver

  The dates of travel were May 24-26 so mild daytime Spring temperatures and cold nights. Room temperature controlled by Hotel contrary to what you’re told. We absolutely froze all 3 nights. A space heater and additional duvet proved inadequate to remove the draft. The water pressure and lack of adequate hot water to shower is another negative. The hotel is clean and the restaurant menu satisfactory.   Very nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Delicious breakfast à la carte in beautiful Hydra restaurant. The location is great with the walking distance to every place we wanted to be. We stayed for two nights before our Alaska cruise, the family of four.
