This hotel is centrally located in Burnaby on the bustling Lougheed Highway, only 15 min from central Vancouver and minutes from the Trans Canada Highway and the Gilmore Skytrain. It lies close to businesses, shopping, dining, entertainment, sports, parks and golf courses.

Facility

The hotel has 94 single rooms and 31 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are provided. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has 125 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can leisurely swim a few lengths of the heated freshwater pool. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Evening entertainment includes live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant with air conditioning, a breakfast room and a bar. A continental breakfast, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide range of dishes (lunch and dinner à la carte). Special meals, including vegetarian dishes, are also available. In addition, picnics and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Excellent hotel for business traveler. Great hospitable staff, clean rooms ,good location. Every thing is close by. Hotel restaurant food was very good.     This hotel is a gem — our family has met there four years in a row. It’s nicely situated with easy access to Skytrain or driving downtown but the great restaurants— Cactus Club and oeb— make it easy to eat nearby. The rooms are perfect and luxurious. I appreciate the suite with a kitchen so I can have coffee and breakfast.I adore the outdoor pool and hot tub— that’s really what sets it apart for me.     Disappointed fitness traveller

    Staff was polite. The rooms were adequately cleaned but had evidence of the last guest’s stay. The policy for the fitness room needs to change however. Most hotels have a 24 hr open door to their fitness rooms to accommodate travellers’ schedules. This one does not and would not adjust even after being asked. Working out is an integral part of daily life and when a hotel’s hours do not accommodate a traveler’s business schedule it is time for a change. Will never stay here again and will not recommend it to others.

    Perfect hotel if visiting Burnaby

    We spent three wonderful days at this hotel. Love the idea of a suite with a sitting area away from the bedroom. Also appreciated the microwave and the fridge. The service was great for clean towels, etc. We also liked the restaurant on location which we accessed daily. As the weather was nice, we were also able to use the pool and sit on the patio around the pool. We were surprised how many shops and restaurants were walking distance to the hotel. We had a jacuzzi suite but found it difficult to get into and out of the tub so next time we will not bother with a jacuzzi.     Disgusted and disappointed

    Found mold spores on pillows and a little on the sheets, was so disgusted because we were too tired and fell asleep on them but found them during the morning because it had a funky smell. We complained and they sent someone and all she said was I changed the sheets and didn’t seem concerned or even cared. We went to the front desk to complain and ask for a refund but she just said they can only refund our parking. She didn’t seem to care or try to help us. We have videos of the mold too.
