  👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 👎🏽Grand Park Hotel VancouverAirport was an awful place to stay, the bathtub was dirty, the pillow I was using initially wreaked of BO, and then I was rudely awaken by a maid shouting in Punjabi down the hall.I arrived after 2 am and had requested a late check out on acccount of my late arrival on my delayed flight.   A filthy hotel with lots of cleaning required. The room was covered with dust, surfaces still having stains, headboard with stains, carpet filthy which was not a joke. Dirt and old food left under furniture. Toilet seat stained brown. For me the worse part was the bed was not changed from the previous guest only made up with crumpled sheets. I changed rooms and it was no better. Separately the ride from airport is 16 minutes not 6 minutes.

  A Warm Welcome in a Big City

  If you need to spend time in Vancouver, this is a great choice for a hotel. The place has a classy, hospitable atmosphere with genuine customer service - the staff actually enjoy their jobs and it shows. I wish I could remember the names of the Front Desk staff, but there was a young woman from Mexico and an Indo-Canadian lad that both made me feel like my stay with them mattered. That's a rare occurrence in a big-city hotel and it deserves the compliment.The rooms are traditional airport hotel rooms, but they are very clean. Even the mattress protector was new, freshly laundered and unstained (I looked). Plenty of high quality pillows, above average shampoo/conditioners, and decent wifi. The location is all you need to see Vancouver, or just wait out a night between flights. Downtown is a cheap Uber ride away, and there are WAY too many restaurants to choose from, all walking distance. If I were you, I'd do some online exploration of the Asian options in the neighborhood and treat yourself to a REAL Asian meal - not one made pretend for westerners - these restaurants often don't even have English on the menu. Just ask the wait staff to choose for you. Why not? There is also a great restaurant in the hotel, and an Earl's across the street, for the less adventurous.A good night's sleep, good food, a hospitable staff, and a shuttle to the airport. What more do you need?

  Hotel clean, staff friendly, rooms comfortable however Culinary very poor both dinner and breakfast unfortunately the worst to date, thank fully Restaurants very close- ideal hotel for airport and 1 night stay however if you want to be able eat in suggest another venue

  The staff here were welcoming, kind and helpful. We arrived early our first stay (2 different nights a week apart) and were offered to have our bags stored in a secure location as well as offered water and coffee. They also assisted with things to do in the area. Great staff! Our second night, again we arrived early and were able to check in which was so very helpful as we were exhausted. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is what makes the hotel.
