Location

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Richmond, only about 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Within walking distance are two major shopping centres, a variety of restaurants and plenty of nightlife. The Canada Line Skytrain express to Downtown Vancouver is just 3 blocks away. Stanley Park, Rogers Arena, BC Place, BC Ferries and the Washington State border are all within roughly 30 minutes of the hotel. Approximately 5 minutes away is Vancouver International Airport.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 15-storey building with a lift and 237 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation.     We like everything about this hotel, from location to the staff. About the staff: Everyone is attentive and nice. Special call out to the front desk and shuttle personnel. And much thanks to management, in particular Upneet, who resolved some issues we had professionally and with kindness. Cavu, the restaurant, is very good. The location is just super with fast and easy shuttle access to the airport and a short walk to the SkyTrain. Next time we're in Vancouver we are staying here.     Misleading breakfast information at check in.

    The hotel is mostly fine. One issue was when I checked in, I was told that as Diamond member I got free breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids. But when I went to have breakfast the next morning, they said that my 2 kids had to pay for breakfast.

    We stayed in 2 different types of rooms at the beginning and end of a trip, and wanted a place convenient to the main YVR and South YVR floatplane terminals. This hotel provides shuttle service twice an hour to both locations. Despite proximity to airport, rooms were generally quiet, although we could hear planes rumbling. Clean rooms, in good condition. Easy on-line room selection and friendly reception and restaurant staff. Bathrooms in the standard room and junior suite are small and a bit cramped. Could use a bedside lamp on both sides of bed in the jr. suite. Good option for overnight airport stay.

    Our family visited for the second time, and had a perfect experience. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms and facilities were clean and well designed. Particularly wanted to highlight the breakfast staff at Cavu, the in-hotel restaurant: Gremma, Clarissa, Jatin and Cass for their warm greetings, attentiveness and efficiency. Cass remembered us from our previous visit and was once again full of helpful tips and fun stories. She made us feel right at home and made sure all our needs were met. Would definitely stay here again.

    Love the service and Ninfa from the restaurant was lovely!!! My room was cozy, clean and I could rest a lot! Can't wait to be back.
