Location

The hotel is some 5 km from the centre of Vancouver. A public transport stop is located directly by the hotel. The Asian Market and the River Rock Casino are about 5 minutes away by car, and the shopping venues in the centre of Richmond are roughly a 10-minute drive. The famous fishing village of Steveston is around 40 minutes away by public transport.

Facility

The hotel has 107 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 18 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park.     Awful hotel. They allowed previous guest a late checkout, but room not ready by 3 pm check in time. I paid for handicapped room and have mobility issues and staff tried to give me a non handicapped room. I had to wait 20 minutes for room to be ready.     Stress-Free Layover Airport Stay

    We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver Airport (Richmond) during a flight connection. Our flight arrived past midnight, and it was such a relief to see the hotel shuttle waiting right as we exited the airport—very convenient and stress-free.Check-in was smooth, and Emily and Raphael were especially warm and welcoming. As Platinum Elite members, we were pleasantly surprised with some thoughtful treats from the snack bar, which made us feel truly valued.The buffet breakfast the next morning was simple but had everything we needed to get our day started. Despite the shuttle being fully booked for our departure, Christian quickly arranged two cabs for our family of five so we could continue our journey without delay.Overall, it was a comfortable and well-managed stay with excellent service throughout.     Reliable Comfort and Customer Service!

    I originally made a booking at the Holiday Inn Express Richmond, but accidentally booked it for the wrong date and arrived a day early (and at 10:30 pm)! Despite the mix-up, the experience turned out to be incredibly positive thanks to the outstanding service I received.The young man at the front desk around 10:30 pm wasn’t able to accommodate us at that location, but he went above and beyond by calling their sister hotel the Holiday Inn on Cambie Street, to check for availability. Not only did they have a room, but they also honoured the same rate I had originally booked—something I truly appreciated.The Holiday Inn on Cambie is lovely. The rooms are modern, the beds are very comfortable, and it’s nice and quiet. The included breakfast is fantastic as well.We’ve stayed at both Holiday Inns multiple times and will continue to do so whenever we’re flying out for a holiday.A huge thank you to that front desk agent for his initiative, kindness, and exceptional customer service—he truly went above and beyond.
