Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Vancouver city centre. There are numerous bars and clubs in the immediate vicinity and all of the attractions of the city centre can be comfortably reached by foot. It is just a 5-minute drive to the sea, Chinatown and the Vancouver Aquarium. The nearest ski centre is around 20 minutes away by car and the local railway station is just 3 blocks away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1912. 2 suites, 35 single rooms and 45 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available.     The staff were so helpful from the tine we checked in and during our stay. The front desk explained everything we need to know, they even offered free drinks for every guest.     Vikram was key to making our trip exceptional. He checked us in, made sure we had everything we needed and texted daily to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Vikram went above and beyond several times during our stay and was truly kind and helpful!!!The hotel is clean, but rooms are tiny. It is in an interesting part of town and can get a little loud during the weekends. Great price with breakfast included and a short walk from everything downtown related. Would stay again.     Absolutely fantastic little hotel in downtown Vancouver! The front reception was incredibly kind and helpful ( Takaaki ) as well as the help from Arjun, who even helped me with all my luggage up to my room! They hand delivered my skip the dishes to my room as well.The mint shampoo and conditioner was most refreshing for my early morning start! ☺️The rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was cozy!
