Location

This hotel enjoys a great location in the heart of Vancouver, offering breathtaking views of the Burrard Inlet beach and the North Shore Mountains. A broad selection of shopping and entertainment venues can be found nearby on Granville Street. Guests will reach the nearest public transport in about 5 minutes on foot, the nearest railway station in 10 minutes. In addition, the nearest harbour tours are around a 15-minute walk away from the hotel also making it an ideal base from which to explore the famous sights of the city. The nearest ski slopes are around a half-hour drive from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 10 suites, 270 single rooms and 154 double rooms, which are located on 31 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well.     Great location and great service as expected at a Marriott. Some of the rooms were a bit outdated, but very clean with nice views. The staff was amazing and responded immediately to any requests even though I stressed there was no rush for another box of Kleenex. There is a cute grocer/bodega just down Hastings and liquor store a few blocks away.

    Our stays at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel are always something we look forward to, and this visit—celebrating my birthday—was no exception.The location is unbeatable. We love being able to walk to the waterfront, enjoy fantastic dining options, browse eclectic shops, and take in the energy of Vancouver.This time, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the newly renovated rooms—a king room on the 31st floor. The exceptional design is modern yet warm and inviting, with a layout that gives you space to truly relax. The swivel TV is a great touch, making it easy to unwind in bed after a day out exploring the city. Everything feels thoughtfully designed for comfort, convenience and electronics (they have added so many outlets and ports for electronic equipment!).While the rooms are awesome, the real highlight is the staff: Aimee in the Showcase restaurant was amazing and kind (and the seven layer chocolate cake is to die for!); Emma at the front desk kindly helped explore a birthday upgrade; and Marina in the executive lounge was consistently welcoming and attentive. Every staff member we encountered contributed to making our stay memorable.Having stayed in hundreds of hotels, we can confidently say this property is among the very best. It truly lives up to its name, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit—hopefully in a renovated water-view room!

    Had a wonderful two night stay. All of the staff were amazing. A special thank you to Paulo at front desk who really took his time and care on explaining some tourist attractions in the city. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Some might say the hotel is dated, but I found it dated in the best possible way.

    Good location, very good food and atmosphere in the downstairs pub. Live music in the afternoons when we were there 10/24 & 10/25. However I find the rooms noise level too loud from the traffic down in the streets even though we were on the 18th. floor. Asked for a room fridge & microwave- these were delivered promptly.

    The entire staff of the hotel and restaurant were extremely attentive and professional. However, the concierge Verinda went way beyond the call of duty. She recommended and helped us get on a last minute very enjoyable trip on a very bleak cold day. This little bit of kindness made this a memorable visit!
