Location

This hotel is located directly in Vancouver city centre, about one minute on foot from the Pan Pacific Mall and its countless shops and entertainment venues. Famous attractions of the city, such as Gastown at the heart of Vancouver's old town, Chinatown, or the Art Gallery are all also only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Guests will reach the railway and bus stations in about 10 minutes by public transport. The city airport lies some 15 km to the south of the centre, and can be reached in around 30 minutes.

Facility

197 rooms and 18 suites are located on 18 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a games console and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. The water sports offered include canoeing. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, billiards, bowling, squash, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a café and a bar. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    This is a handy hotel due to its great location in downtown Vancouver. Especially for those going on a cruise. Best to walk with your luggage to the terminal as a taxi will take longer as traffic around the port terminal is horrendous, more so when more than one ship is in port.Hotel is modern, but old. Our room felt a little dated but it was comfortable. Don’t expect too much in terms of views from your rooms.We did notice lots of tour groups stay here which makes it a very busy hotel & may reflect the high nightly prices. The small foyer on occasions did feel overcrowded.If we can get a good deal on pricing we’d certainly consider staying here again.     I cancelled my reservation 48hr prior to arrival due to a family medical emergency. I offered to send the hotel medical documentation in exchange for credit for a future stay. The hotel refused. When I escalated to a supervisor, I was told to contact Booking.com (who then directed me to the hotel). Very disappointing customer service.

    Excellent location in the downtown area, adjacent to the Yaletown neighborhood as well as Gastown.Very helpful lobby staff.Delightful and comfortable room.Extremely quiet and relaxing.

    Walking distance to everything, restaurants, ferry centre, offices and the metro. Had a renovated room. Layout was still old, but furnishings relatively new. They gave chocolates. Lobby looks tad dated. Forget their names but consistently the same gentleman in the afternoon and lady in the morning. They helpfully shared discount vouchers for attractions. Older bellboy who looks like he’s works in the hotel for decades also very helpful. Elite breakfast options tasted exceptional. Pool is tiny and shower area there historic looking.
