Facility

The hotel was built in 1908. 57 rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include an alarm call service and a laundry service. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

    Good Location. Good Room. Forget About The Bar.

    Centrally located, the room was clean and comfortable. Really just used the hotel to sleep after trying the bar one night and being treated rudely by the bartender. Made a throat slashing gesture when I walked in at about 10:15PM. When I asked what that was about, he said he had already called last call and they weren't serving. I understand that, but maybe use your words the next time! I immediately talked to the front desk about the situation and the guy on duty didn't seem too interested and made a series of excuses. I'd suggest the Irish pub about a block away. Good prices, better atmosphere and no throat slashing gestures from the staff.

    Great place to stay. Location is amazing. Allowed me late check out. Rooms were clean. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Changed towels everyday. Bed was comfortable. Not being picky but maybe a new TV is in order in the rooms:)

    My New Favorite Vancouver Hotel

    I have no idea why the rating of this hotel is so low. My husband and I just got back from two nights at Moda, and we absolutely LOVED our experience there. This hotel is well-managed, clean, roomy, convenient to so many places, etc. We found the folks at the front desk to be organized, friendly, and polite. The stairwells were spotless. Our room was large, and we had real coffee cups, glasses, and a metal spoon. I appreciated having a bathtub and nice tile bathroom floors rather than linoleum. The TV could be upgraded, but we didn't need it too much, so no biggy. Now, on to the restaurants associated with this place. When we first checked in, we ended up having lunch at the sports bar (Red Card) associated with the hotel. My husband ordered poutine, and I had a burger and fries. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Then, on our last morning, we had breakfast at the attached cocktail bar (UVA). Again, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and our service from the waitress, Seohyun, was impeccable. She was so friendly, helpful, and on top of her job. She even made a seahorse design on my cappuccino (that's talent). We are definitely keeping this hotel on our list of Vancouver favorites. It is currently my favorite hotel in the city (I think this was my fifth time to Vancouver).

    MODA hotel is a true gem in Vancouver. It’s a little bit of Europe with excellent service, offerings and location. It’s kitty corner from the Orpheum theater.👏👏Camilla gave us five star service at dinner!

    Moda Hotel is a wonderful little gem in downtown Vancouver. I stayed for a short staycation and immediately felt the warmth and personality of the space. The check-in staff were kind and attentive, and the hotel has a cozy, European-inspired charm that makes it feel special rather than generic.The connection to Uva Café and Cibo Restaurant adds to the experience—there’s a great sense of place here, almost like stepping into a small boutique hotel you’d find in Europe. It’s walkable, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for guests who value atmosphere as much as convenience.If you enjoy boutique hotels with character and a relaxed, stylish vibe, Moda is absolutely worth a stay.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
