Location

Enjoy privacy in the West End of Vancouver, in a peaceful residential area close to the pulsing heart of the city. Guests are within easy reach of the world famous Stanley Park with endless hiking trails, sandy beaches, pretty gardens and the Vancouver Aquarium with a spectacular dam, which is over 9 km long. In addition, the finance and business district is only a couple of minutes away. Robson is located nearby, the most popular shopping streets in the city, where guests will also find the theatre district and plenty of restaurants. Further entertainment venues, supermarkets and local markets are also within walking distance.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 27 apartments, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     We were happy to stay here again, this time while in town for the Sakura Days Japan Festival. We love the close proximity to Stanley Park and that dogs are welcome. Our dog LOVES it here. We had a suite on the 3rd floor this time around. I must say the furniture in our room was looking a bit worn and beat up. The suite had a sleeper sofa. We pulled it out because two other family members were considering staying with us one night instead of driving home after a full day in Vancouver. However, the mattress on the sleeper sofa was AWFUL. I wouldn't even put small children on it. So they did not stay. (They drove home and arrived safely.). The bedrooms are tight. A double bed barely fits in the room. And the bathrooms are quite small. There is no place to put your toiletries. A little shelf would go a long way. But we still love this place!

    It was so nice to return to Rosellen Suites! I hadn't been to visit here for a few years. My dog remembered the place! As usual, our suite was spacious, offering everything we needed for our stay. We had a one bedroom suite; the bedroom was a bit small, with the bed up against the wall. Still, it worked for us. They've remodeled the lobby area. I miss the raccoon. But it is now more modern. Our only issue was that the lock on our door was finicky. It took many attempts inserting our key cards in slot to get the door to open. That was a little frustrating, especially after hours. Otherwise, it was a terrific stay.

    This must be the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Everything is pristine , there’s 5 sets of towels for me , a full kitchen with everything you need , big lounge and dining , nice bedroom comfy bed . Just a few minutes walk to Denman st and Rosbon so everything is here . I have no complaints at all . There also a basket with lots of different teas , coffee, microwave popcorn etc . Great choice . It is very quiet also .

    Lumpy noisy uncomfortable bed

    We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom and we used the primary which had a queen in suite 306. The mattress was a disaster. It felt lumpy and made a horrible noise every time you moved. We think it wasn’t changed for a long time. We brought the concern forward and initially it was brushed off. They said they would take a look. At 4 am my husband and I gave up and went to the other bedroom and used the twin beds. By comparison these beds were fantastic. Suite was very spacious but the cupboards all had chipped paint and the bathroom door for the ensuite wouldn’t stay open when you stand at the sink. Blinds don’t fully close everywhere. Old and shabby not vintage chic.

    Great boutique hotel in nice neighborhood. Able to walk to restaurants and drug store. Beautiful tree lined streets and so close to Stanley park and the water. My only negative would be the walls are a bit thin so if you are sensitive to noise it might not be the spot for you. I would definitely stay here again.
