  Excellent location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had , corner room, was quiet and very clean. This will be our go to hotel in the future.

  Beautifully clean and very comfortable rooms. Caring staff. Wonderful on site resturant..outstanding in every way. E cellent chef. Excellent location for access to outdoors by foot or transit.

  Our travel agent booked us into this hotel for a night before a cruise. We were greeted warmly, our luggage taken immediately to our rooms. The rooms are spacious, light and airy - but there are blackout curtains for night. There is a beautiful bar and restaurant on the first floor. We had drinks in the evening, wonderful brunch before we check out. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated in a seaside theme. Roomy shower, comfortable bed, everything clean and modern. We would highly recommend it and when in Vancouver, will stay again.

  I rarely leave poor reviews, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing, especially given the circumstances. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding taking place at the hotel, with the ceremony scheduled for 3:30 PM. We had requested an early check-in for just ONE room at 2:30 PM (regular check-in was 4 PM) so the bridal party could get organized and ready before the wedding. There were 5 bridesmaids, we only needed 1 room. I don’t think our request was insane by any means. We did everything we could on our end — notes were added to the file, we called ahead multiple times, including the day before and the morning of, and my husband even arrived at 2 PM to help make arrangements. We completely understood that early check-in could not be guaranteed, but the lack of communication, organization, and care was incredibly frustrating.To make matters worse, while we were still standing in the lobby waiting with the bride arriving shortly after, another couple walked in with suitcases and were immediately given an early check-in room. After being told repeatedly how “busy” the hotel was and that they were “trying their best,” this felt extremely disappointing and honestly quite upsetting.Even something as simple as adding my husband to the reservation became a disorganized nightmare — and another bridesmaid experienced the exact same issue when trying to add her husband as well. I will also note, we were all charged different amounts as well, which is interesting. It’s too bad because the hotel itself is beautiful, but the customer service and organization surrounding such an important event really fell short.
