  Nice hotel - Horrible location

  The hotel itself is cute and kitschy. The location is not great. Our room was on a busy street and there was constant noise for most of the night and then people started up again around 5am. While the room was comfortable, the environment was not. Also, this is in downtown. Lots of homeless people and drug activity around. This is not something we are used to.I would love this hotel in a more welcoming environment.

  Disappointing Stay Despite Central Location

  I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. From the start, access to the parking was inconvenient, as the entrance is through an alley. There were some questionable individuals around the parking entrance, which made it feel unsafe.The hotel is located next to a hospital, and throughout the night there was constant sirens, making it very difficult to sleep. Between that, thin walls where you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, and people talking outside at 3 a.m., getting proper rest was nearly impossible.The room itself was disappointing. It did not match the photos shown online, which appear to be heavily edited. There was a noticeable strange smell, and the overall condition felt below expectations. The shower had very low water pressure, adding to the frustration.Additional inconveniences included very small elevator that is difficult to use with luggage, and visible cell antennas near the room on the 4th fl., which wasn’t ideal.The only positive aspect of this hotel is its central location, which is convenient for getting around. Otherwise, the stay was quite underwhelming and not one I would repeat.

  Good stay, bad beds

  Good location. Clean rooms and wifi works well. My wife and I found the beds pretty stiff. After 2 nights our backs were pretty stiff. Overall it was a good stay but I probably wouldn’t recommend.

  Hospitality with Warmth and Smile

  A wondeful Hotel with an old world charm , right in the heart of Downtown Vancouver . Notwithstanding the old world charm the place boasts of all essential Modern Amenities. The icing on the Cake is ofcourse the Courtyard with fireplace which is a wonderful place for an impromptu Get-Together or to work in solitude. The Hotel also has a tie up with a Fitness Studio where the Hotel Guests can go and workout.The Hotel has a lovely and Lively Coffee Shop in the premises. There is an abundant choice of Restaurants to please every Palate within 5 to 10 mts of walk. Its on Burrard Street and within walking distance of two Transit Skytrain stations.Last but not the least, the Staff at FrontDesk and the Housekeeping embodies what Hospitality with a Smile and Warmth Means.I will love to Stay here again

  All you really need and more

  The Burrard is not the "Westin or the Hyatt" nor does it pretend to be. We found it to be impeccably clean, with sufficient amenities to accommodate our stay. Staff were exceptionally friendly, yet professional and walked the extra mile to accommodate any of our wishes, of which there were few. The courtyard was warm and welcoming, no pomp and circumstance here, just travellers meeting travellers. Come as you are and enjoy the hospitality, the city and all the eclectic eateries within walking distance. We will be back!
