    Fantastic hotel! Our room was immaculate, updated, had everything we needed including a very comfy king size bed. Super convenient location, great breakfast included, even treats in the lobby. The manager checked us in and went above and beyond, very much appreciated. Thank you so much, we'll be back soon !

    Our go-to hotel in Sidney.We had such a wonderful stay at the Emerald Isle. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed—the staff remembered my daughter, and our dog was recognized and treated with special amenities, which meant so much to us.The rooms are generously sized and incredibly comfortable, with every in-room amenity you could need. One feature we especially loved when travelling as a family was having two sinks with mirrors outside the main washroom—so handy when getting everyone ready, especially with teenagers.Breakfast was fresh and generous with an expansive offering, and we loved being so close to the waterfront walkway, along with the amazing local shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Farmer’s Daughter—we were lucky enough to catch their Wednesday fondue night and it was such a fun, delicious experience.I was also excited to learn the hotel has a co-working space attached. It’s an incredible space and allowed me to get some work done away from my family, which was a huge bonus.It was cold and icy in the mornings during our stay, and the maintenance team took excellent care of the outdoor walkways and parking lot, which we really appreciated.We’re already looking forward to coming back.     The Best Western Plus Emerald Isle Hotel served its purpose as our last hotel prior to departing home the next morning. With the ideal location comes a room rate that is higher than overage, so bear in mind that the value proposition may not nearly be as strong for some. Breakfast offerings were good including a few select hot items which was appreciated. Please be aware there are displays around the site (rooms, breakfast area, etc.) with a QR code to offer gratuities to staff who went above and beyond; fair warning as this may be off-putting to some. Our stay overall was reasonable, was within Best Western standards (generally clean, friendly staff) and is indicative of its current ratings online.     We were only at the property for a quick overnight. The rooms aren’t fancy but nicely furnished and super clean. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Included breakfast selection was varied. Not a lot of tables in the breakfast room but we were there early so it wasn’t a problem. Staff onsite was friendly and there are several amenities available including bikes, fitness centre and laundry but we weren’t there long enough to use them. Would recommend as nice spot to stay.     Quiet, clean and modern hotel. Would gladly return.

    We were in the annex, which turned out to be a plus. The fitness room was convenient, and the room was very quiet. Only caveat was the room was a bit dark, the view out the window was of a cedar fence. The room itself was very clean, nothing to complain about. The hotel is located so a stroll to the town center or to the piers is a 10-minute walk. Harmony deserves special recognition for her help in extending our stay.
