  Good, more upscale Bestwestern in Tofino

  Bestwestern Plus Tin Wis Resort is a nice, newer and more upscale Bestwestern with beach access. Our room, like most other rooms, had a private balcony and view of the Pacific Ocean views. Front desk check-in was a breeze and the staff were helpful with suggestions for places to visit, including whalewatching in Tofino. Our room came with a King bed (with very comfortable cotton bedsheets and down comforters), and sofa bed, and the bathroom had more upscale amenities than regular Bestweatern (Pharmacopia shampoo, conditioner, and skin lotion). There was a laundry room with large washing machines and dryers. Complementary hot and cold breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, included a wide range of food – pastries, breads, jams & butter, several cereals, instant oats, yogurt parfait with fruit, bacon and sausages, fruits (bananas, apples), hardboiled egg and vegetarian burritos.   Mother and Daughter togetherness!!

  A great experience on the west coast of British Columbia, B.C. Being right on the beachside, one has the freedom to take a good, refreshing walk along the hard sand beach. This is one of the calmest beaches in Tofino. The Tin Wis Resort offers free full breakfast every day which is a real bonus. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Free coffee is offered in the office right adjacent to the dining room. There is no swimming pool here but you have the ocean!! The hot tub helps when the day is cold and the workout room is adequate. All in all a good place to stay!   $375 a night? Mould in shower. Tiny, cramped room. Rude staff

  Booked and paid 10 weeks previous with request for nice rooms, as we were celebrating a wedding anniversary and a birthday. We were given a tiny, dark, lower level room with minimal ocean view. Cramped bathroom. "Kitchenette" was a box with no sink. Mould on the shower ceiling. Called after 3;45pm check in to ask for better room. Was told "we're full" and "complain to Booking."   Great hotel, amazing location!

  Our family stayed two nights, we had (2) queen rooms with patio/ground floor with an incredible view. Walk out the sliding door and you have quick access to the beach, it was wonderful. Our check- in was quick, our room was spacious, very clean, quiet and honestly just perfect. We toured the grounds and walked the amazing beach, watched the waves and took time to rest after a few days of driving. Oh yes and drinks on the patio, priceless.! The morning breakfast was very good, one of the best BW included breakfasts we ever had.   When can I go again?!

  Unbelievable location a minute from the water in a beautiful cove. Youthful relaxed atmosphere across the whole site. Room was spotless and generous size. Great value for money on stay and bar/restaurant costs. Beautifully quiet offering a good nights sleep. Service and engagement from staff is exceptional. Fully loaded free gym was a bonus. Grab some logs, light a fire and take in that sunset!
