Location

This hotel is located in a resort enclave in British Columbia's lovely Inner Harbour known as Belleville Park. Whatever mode of transportation guests choose, they will be delighted with this location, right in the heart of Victoria and overlooking the spectacular Inner Harbour. Shops are only 2 km away at the Bay Center, and guests will find a number of attractions in the area for example the Royal BC Museum (1 km), the Parliament Buildings (1 km), Craigdarroch Castle (4 km) and the Butchart Gardens (35 km). The hotel is situated directly across the street from the US Ferries Terminal and 5 minutes from the Helijet Harbour and Kenmore Air stations. The city of Vancouver is a 2 1/2 hour drive away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with a lift and 115 rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Our group recently experienced a challenging travel day en route to Victoria, but upon arriving the Huntingdon Hotel, we found a sense of relief and comfort that helped ease our frustrations. Despite our late arrival due to flight cancellations, the staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating. A simple phone call to inform the hotel of our situation was met with warm smiles and a welcoming attitude, which was refreshing after a long day of travel. We were in Victoria for a gymnastics competition, and our group included several children who were excitedly roaming the halls. The hotel staff treated us like family, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. Our room was impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, with close proximity to all the attractions we wished to visit. We greatly appreciated the flexibility of late checkout, which allowed us to relax a bit longer before our evening flights. The staff kindly permitted us to park on the street, which was a significant convenience. This was our second stay the Huntingdon Hotel, and we continue to be charmed by its location, character, and the exceptional service provided by the staff.     Our stay overall was very nice and we will likely stay again. We did have an initial problem with storage of our clothes but the chest that was added took care of that problem. The only other suggestion I would make is to add another knife to the kitchen. The only sharp knife was about 10 inches long and wasn't very useful for cutting rolls or fruit.     We enjoyed our week at Huntington. Our room was clean, comfortable if a bit dated. Construction across the street was a minor issue and did not affect our sleep. One problem was an elevator alarm that went off on the middle of the night that woke us up. It took awhile to get it sorted. Breakfast was good, basic, hot, plentiful. Not sure why some tables were reserved and sat empty. We would stay here again as the location is ideal for walking around the various areas of Victoria.     I had fun staying at Huntingdon on my birthday.

    I celebrated my birthday there with my husband this past long weekend and had a great time as well since it’s also Victoria Day. Huntingdon has some great complimentary perks and all the staffs are very accommodating, quick and friendly. The interior is mixed of modern and old style but modest. We are very pleased and satisfied with our room, it is so comfortable and clean and has a big window facing the Quebec street. The loft type suite reminds us of our home back in Philippines so we got to sleep really well. You can cook something too, if you’re staying for several days because there is nice small kitchen counter. For the free buffet breakfast, it’s very good and simple but I am looking for more green salad to match the proteins that time, perhaps it depends on what is available for the day. Their dining area is clean and has a great glass walls for a nice Pendray view in the morning , although ocean view is not that good this year because of the ferry terminal construction. Overall all, it is a great stay and worth to visit and book again soon!
