The resort has a lift and features 149 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops as well. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park. Further services include room service and a laundry service. A bicycle hire service (no extra charge) gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. We were Happy with Our Choice to Stay Here!

We loved our stay at the Beach Club Resort. The staff at the front desk and resaturant were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the shower and soaker tub wonderful, the ammenities all very good. We enjoyed the restaurant, a cut above... especilly the dinner and starters menu. The breakfast waffles were skimpy though for the price so maybe order something else. Lastly, the hotel was quiet, even though there was lots of traffic on the main road, we never heard it or the neighbours staying in the hotel. We were happy with our choice to stay at the Beach Club Resort and would recommend staying here. The views of the ocean and beach walks are the highlight of staying here.

One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Promotes itself as 4star but I would put it more in 2star category. I can’t understand why this is classed as a resort when it has no outside seating area other than its restaurant!!! It does provide you with chairs if you want to go onto the beach, however, these are small metal fold up chairs, not at all relaxing and not everyone wants to go to the beach !! We paid extra for a sea view room, however our main outlook was a huge RV site which was next to the hotel, none of which is stated in their literature or website. We did complain but were told if we had booked direct as opposed to via an agent we would have had better room. They did say they could move us but it wouldn’t be until half way through our length of stay. Due to our disappointment we had already decided to leave but our agent was in the UK and due to time difference we ended up having to stay a couple of nights longer than we wanted to.We also requested that our room would have the sun late in the day as we like to relax on the balcony with a glass of wine. However our room received the sun first thing in the morning from 7.30 through to 12noon and that was then gone for the rest of the day. We ate at the restaurant on our first night then breakfast the following morning and food was not good.

Room 310 is a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. Layout wise, it is perfect. The fireplace was a nice touch and was used a little. The balcony overlooks Parksville Bay and provides a wonderful view which was quite enjoyable and used a lot. Downsides are what can only be described as one of the worst beds we’ve ever experienced. Definitely time for a new mattress! The room was sometimes noisy with kids running around in adjacent rooms. Housekeeping service was OK, but not consistent as far as when the rooms get cleaned. Parking can be problematic, as there were times when the garage was full. Restaurant food and drinks is a plus, and room service was excellent. All in all, we had a nice week there.

We booked two rooms at the Beach Club Resort from June 30 to July 2 for a Canada Day employee appreciation trip.Unfortunately, both rooms had a strong musty and unpleasant smell when we arrived. We reported it to the front desk, but the resort was fully booked and they were unable to move us. We opened the doors and tried to air out the rooms, but the accommodations were still not what we expected, particularly considering the price we paid.There was also a dispute after checkout regarding additional smoking charges applied to our rooms. Nobody in our group smokes, and we had reported smelling cigarette smoke coming from the area around our rooms during the stay. Resolving the charges took considerable time and effort, which added further frustration to an already disappointing experience.However, management ultimately reviewed the situation and reversed the additional charges, which we appreciate.Although the financial issue was eventually resolved, the condition of the rooms and the overall experience did not meet our expectations for a resort at this price point.

Amazing staff who bent over backwards to help fix a mistake that a third party booking company made. Their head of guest services Rob Williamson went to bat for me with this incredibly difficult third party travel service to get me refunded and rebooked - WAY BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY! And this saved our vacation. And the other members of staff were amazing too! And what an awesome hotel in an incredible location 10 stars out of 5! ??We’ll be coming back for sure!
