Overlooking Victoria’s spectacular Inner Harbour, this hotel captures the spirit and energy of Vancouver Island in grand style. The hotel is located in the city centre where an array of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops and railway station are to be found. A bus stop is to be found behind the hotel. The Royal British Columbia Museum, the Aquarium Undersea Gardens, the wax museum, Butchart Gardens and Beacon Hill Park are all situated in the near vicinity and are well worth a visit.

    Not quite what we’d expect from a Fairmont

    We upgraded to a Harbour View Queen. Whilst we did have a view of the harbour the room and bathroom was disappointingly small. We have stayed in Fairmont Hotels before and I would agree with others who say it needs a refurb/refreshment generally.

    Third time we walked through the facility it’s very beautiful and clean. The plating and dishes of tea were a pretty amazing. We did not stay for that but just walked through

    Fabulous, lived up to its reputation in every way! Great room, great view of harbour. Central location to everything. Beautiful gardens. Cocktail bar was great & staff mixed fantastic cocktails with panache! Thoroughly recommend staying here or just book for afternoon tea.

    This is a beautiful building, and the flower planting is outstanding in Spring. It is expensive and our room was small but well kept and quiet. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We opted for afternoon tea, which was a tad disappointing, because it was noisy in that area- I am comparing it to the Ritz in London, though. The only thing that was odd was breakfast and asking us for a reservation, but I guess that is because people can book from outside.
