Location

This hotel is located in the heart of Whistler village, meaning that the shops, bars and restaurants are all just a short stroll away. The ski slopes are a mere 100 metres from the accommodation, whilst the Pacific Ocean is some 4 km away. The Peak-to-Peak gondola can be reached in 15 minutes by public transport and Vancouver is some 65 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 83 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Even in cool weather, guests can swim a few laps in the heated outdoor pool. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Outdoor sports available at the hotel include fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding. With skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding opportunities, the hotel offers the perfect base from which to enjoy winter sports or just a relaxing winter holiday. Ski lifts provide easy access to the pistes. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Meals

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A delicious and varied buffet is prepared for breakfast every day, and a set menu can be ordered at lunch and dinner. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    A friend recommended the Pan Pacific, and it was good advice - I enjoyed staying there. The room was clean and quiet. The employees were nice. And it was centrally located.     Amazing family visit. Accommodations were clean and perfect for our needs, with a lovely view.Breakfast was sufficient and consistent, and the complimentary cookies and hot chocolate in the afternoons were a hit with the family. We used the laundry multiple times as well. The shuttle service is convenient (it is an SUV, and you have to sign up for it in the lobby based on the time you will need it.)Every staff member we came in contact with was courteous and acted as if it was truly their privilege to serve us! Couldn’t have asked for a better visit. We will return.     Good but doesn't live up to the name

    While we had a great stay at Pan Pacific Whistler Village Center in a comfy room with (fake) fire place and mountain view, enjoyed the free breakfast and the spa, don't be fooled, this is not a hotel even though charging as one. This is a serviced apartment block operated by a hotel chain, but misses many of the things you take for granted in a hotel with this name. There is hardly any communal areas and no proper lobby, just a single sofa, and there is no concierge. But on the other hand, guests will not have to carry skis to/from the gondola every day as each room has a ski locker in the sister property just by the Excalibur Gondola and there is a public parking just across the street. Every afternoon there is also free hot chocolate and cookies served in the breakfast room. But that's about all.But all of Whistler is just steps away if you want more.     Good hotel, terrible customer service at front desk

    The hotel's location is excellent and the rooms are decent enough, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. I needed a copy of my folio showing the payment method for reimbursement purposes — a straightforward request — and the staff went out of their way to avoid helping, hiding behind the excuse that "the system didn't allow it." They didn't offer any solutions, saying that it wouldn't be possible. To make things worse, when we had to briefly return to the room for a forgotten item just five minutes before checkout time, they threatened to charge us for an entire additional night if we didn't retrieve it before the clock struck checkout. The breakfast, though included, was poor enough that we chose to eat elsewhere every morning. While the property itself is fine, the consistently unhelpful and rude staff means I won't be returning.
