Location

This hotel is paces from the ski lifts of the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The hotel enjoys a central location in this dynamic Alpine village and is within easy reach of countless shops, restaurants and bars. On foot, guests will reach the centre in about 3 min, the bus stop in about 5 min and the beach of Alta Lake in approximately 30 min.

Facility

6 suites and 75 studios are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes beach volleyball and fishing. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking and golf. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing and kayaking. With skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding opportunities, the hotel offers the perfect base from which to enjoy winter sports or just a relaxing winter holiday. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. A continental breakfast guarantees a great start to the day. At dinner, guests choose dishes à la carte or order a set menu. The hotel also offers picnics.

    Liked · We loved the location! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the kitchenette in the room.Disliked · The hotel is in need of major upgrades. Our room had a lot of wear and tear, and although it was clean, was very run down. The beds were decently comfortable, but they sunk in near the heads of the mattresses. The TV was not easy to use, and we had to have a maintenance person come and show us how to use streaming services, as it wasn't as easy as a click of a button (it had to be paired with your phone). The coffee and coffee maker were extremely budget, and the coffee tasted very watered down. The pool was quite small, but we did enjoy not having hotel staff linger around and enforce rules, which allowed our children to be loud and have a lot of fun.

    This is our 3rd stay at Summit Lodge and the entire team exceeded our expectations every time! Location is perfect in the village but away from the noise. Everything is easily walkable and there are several fantastic dining choices just steps away. We stayed in an executive king suite this time around. The room is clean, spacious and has everything we needed. What separates Summit Lodge is the staff. During our stay, everyone we talked to or passed greeted us with a smile which instantly made us feel welcomed. This includes front service desk, house keeping, maintenance staff… literally everyone! We would recommend this hotel and it will be our first choice every time we visit. Thank you Summit Lodge for being part of a memorable trip.

    Summit Lodge Hotel is based in central Whistler so a great base for exploring. The hotel has signs of wear so in need of a refresh. We were upgraded to an executive king studio which was great, loads of space lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom was functional although quite compact based on the size of the suite.. All the staff were very friendly & welcoming especially the reception team.. Cannot fault anything other than it needs some TLC..
