A lovely hotel. It's obviously all been redone and it was amazing inside!! Very comfortable, nice washroom, clean, beautiful window seat.

    Disappointing

We stayed for 2 nights here during a 3 week holiday. By far the worst hotel and definitely not the cheapest We were in room 1 which was right next to the bar. The music from the bar was really loud until late in the evening. The quiz they did on one night could have been done from the room. The room is dated. The shower makes an awful noise when being used. The view is spectacular and the location good thoughBreakfast was about OK with a few different cereal boxes, bagels and fruit. But nowhere to sit other than back in your room The hotel took $100 deposit on arrival. 2 weeks later they still haven't refunded it, every other hotel refunded it within 24 hours of leaving

    Nice Landmark Hotel Stay

    rating16 Sept 2025

Nice quiet part of town near shops (1km) by car. Older but decent with everything we needed. Our standard room was fine although no hot water it seemed after 6pm or so. Overall, we were satisfied with the staff and the two nights we stayed with our dog. Prices are a bit high even in a shoulder season because of the area.

    Forget supporting this establishment.

We arrived from a long day of touring the area including Whistler . We are from Vancouver, a group of five. We just wanted dinner and beer after a day of hiking and wandering. We indicated to the hostess that we wear a party of five looking for a table outside. The inside was about 40% full . She indicated sternly that she could not accommodate us for at least 15 minutes. We sat in the lounge area for 15 minutes returning as requested. We don't have a table outside and I have no idea when a table will come up again in a very stern voice. Not only were we mislead but the tone and response is not befitting a restaurant. With her attitude we simply left and headed down to the House Lager which while busy were so accommodating and friendly. Not sure whether this Brew Pub has any clients with this sort of attitude.

Horrible Customer Service and LOTS of room problems.

I really wanted our stay here to be good. The place has so much charm, but it just doesn't measure up. First off, we did NOT get the room we booked. I booked a room with two standard double beds. It was supposed to sleep 4 people. They put us in a room with one double bed and a window seat made up to look like a bed, with a really thin foam mattress. We only had 3 people, but if we'd had four, someone would have had to sleep on the floor (and there wasn't enough room for that.). Right after we checked in, I went down to the front desk. The lady there refused to re-room us, saying that they instead were giving us 15% off at the brewery. That doesn't help when you can't sleep comfortably! I slept (or didn't) in the "window" bed; It was very uncomfortable. Maybe it would have been ok for a child, but not an adult. They offer a continental breakfast as part o the deal, but that was pathetic. They didn't even have coffee! You had to use the crappy Keurig in the room. No creamer or sugar. The breakfast was some cereal and some really lousy cookies and some croissants. But, there wasn't any milk for the cereal. They provided no silverware, so you couldn't even butter your croissant. This had to be the worst I've ever experienced. Parking is on the street, but that worked out fine. The inn was quiet at night. The rooms DO now have AC. But overall, for the price paid this place is definitely not worth it. Especially when they are not honest about your accommodations and don't care. Stay somewhere else.
