  Older but clean fresh and you will have a relaxing stay

  Staying here you will find this hotel is older, but you will find it extremely clean and fresh and the staff are wonderful. Our room was clean and fresh when we entered. We were booked in the second floor but my wife really needed the first floor and the front office manager Yvonne Boyer was Very helpful in changing our room to the main floor.Some may say the room decor or carpet needs to be updated, and yes it could be but as stated the room was clean and fresh and had no problems. If staying for more than one night you will be advised housekeeping must be mentioned when checking in if you wish you room done, if not they will pass on it, and we found it better as we didn’t have to put everything away while out.The breakfast area is not large for seating but it does have a good amount of items you can have and the coffee is good, and the lady looking after the area was friendly and made sure when the people left the table she cleaned the table and wiped down all the chairs and swept around the floor. The are was extremely clean.

  The staff at this hotel are super friendly and helpful. The front desk staff, cleaners, maint. people, it does not matter, they always speak to you and try to ensure your stay is good. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. We were scheduled to stay for 4 nights (Monday to Friday) and then unexpectantly were required to stay the Friday night. The front office staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a room and that we did not have to move to another room. It has been a long time since we received this type of customer service from any business or establishment. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

  All seemed good except bed.

  All was expected or better than expected, other than the bed. The room was clean. There was a small fridge and microwave; Both worked well. There were a couple of stains on the carpet, but nothing bad. Ground floor with patio door was great for bringing in the lugage. Nice couch. The breakfast was good. Hot food was scrambled Eggs, sausage patties and hot fries. Eggs and sausage was very good. Potatoes very undercooked. Do-it-yourself waffles. Patties, breads, muffins and more. Good selection and quality. I would have rated a 4.5 if possible, except for the bed. My wife and I had a difficult night. The bed seemed to be too narrow to be a queen. In the morning, I measured it. 60". So a queen. However, there was a topper on the bed that measured less than 54" wide. This created a slope on both sides that made the additional width of the queen unusable. Very uncomfortable night.

  Worst sleep ever. The “Queen” bed was a double. No control of the temperature in the room so we froze all night. When the ac would come on it was so loud and wake us up every time. If I turned it off it was too hot and stuffy. The walls are paper thin so I heard our neighbours music playing all night, literally. And the cost was $200 for a hotel on the side of the highway near cobourg with no amenities. Breakfast was almost inedible. Like this world is crazy. I’d rather sleep in my car. Not impressed and would not recommend. Front desk staff were nice!

  A very good place, good value, good breakfast. Everything was very clean. All employees were extremely courteous and helpful. I needed extra pillows, they were delivered quickly. I like the location also, private and quiet. Will definitely come back.
