cancelled our reservation because they got a better offer

I just received a call from the hotel telling me they have cancelled my reservation for June 2025. When I asked for an explanation, he initially refused to tell me, but when pressed admitted that they had received a request for a large block of rooms, so they were cancelling my reservation to accommodate the request. I advised him that I had booked this 7 months ago, as we are travelling across Canada this summer, and asked if he could help me to keep the reservation. He said that he couldn't do that. Brutal.

Laquinta experience total nightmare!

We've had a very bad experience with the "Manager" Guyan. Very rude and unprofessional. And the hotel looks like a homeless shelter and no more then that. Carpets are very dirty and falling to pices. Decor of the room looks like is from 70's. TV channels are very limited and the breakfast was terrible. Really clean nice staff treated like family 5 stars want to check out the breakfast and fitness center. Great hotel program set up threw corner stone everyone should be able to be warm and to wake up with a full stomach bug fan of the tea tree shampoo

Disgusting hotel.

Disgusting business ethics I had booked eight months ago and because there is a big competition down the road they ended up telling me that they had an evacuation and had to cancel my reservations that I had booked through Expedia. They are trying to jump up the prices and screw the people that had booked months earlier. just like what they did in Niagara Falls with the eclipse. After reading all the reviews on how disgusting the places it probably works out better that we didn’t stay there to get cockroaches and bedbugs. Bad experience, horrible hotel

Save your money and go somewhere else. This hotel is falling apart, smells really bad from the minute you enter the lobby and walk through halls. The rooms are extremely small. Go anywhere else. I've had better experience at motels than I did in this place
