    The room was nice and clean, although it showed May signs of wear and age. The main reason we stayed was for the hot tub which was closed. We weren’t informed at the time of booking and could not get a refund. The pool was barely warm, and did not have the waterfall that was shown in the photos.     Fine hotel on the main road. My room was newly renovated, on the 6th floor. It was comfy, clean and quiet.I checked in after 11pm and the person behind the desk was lovely. I've stayed at a few similarly priced hotels on that road and this is my favourite.The hot tub was not working but I received an email notification in advance.     From the first moment we entered our room, we knew it was not good. Mould in the bathroom, no plug for the TV, no where to plug in the coffee maker other than the bathroom, furniture and lamps dirty, ripped and ready for the dump. Front desk dismissed our concerns and said WE should have contacted the desk ourselves?!? Not sure what they would have done at 12:30 am. On the up side, the staff at the desk were polite at check in but we would highly recommend you stay somewhere else. This place needs some help.     Prior to booking, we were not made aware of the following:- pool is closed- restaurant is closed for dinner- ice machines are broken- parking lot is used as a play area for children to ride bikes - people staying in the hotel are not expected to abide by hotel rules (music was played loudly, children were running up and down the hallways, screaming, yelling, etc. until 1am) IHG Service, Owner at Holiday Inn & Suites Windsor (Ambassador Bridge) by IHG, responded to this review Hi Jennifer D, We appreciate your feedback.
