    I needed an affordable, safe, clean room for a week-long solo woman trip to Winnipeg. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. While the decor is dated and the exterior is a bit rundown, it fulfilled everything I needed. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has quiet time rules that were actually enforced so I got great sleep. The front desk people were friendly and helpful.

    We recently stayed at the Canad Inns Destination Centre in Windsor Park for a hockey tournament. The front desk staff were so friendly and were amazing at check in! When we went to our room we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and spacious the rooms were! We had 2 adults and a teen hockey player so you can imagine the space we needed to air out the equipment. We had time in the morning to visit the restaurant for breakfast and couldn’t believe how much food we got for the great price! We had to leave to go to games & after games to shop and everytime we came back our rooms were cleaned and smelling great (as you can imagine hockey equipment is not the greatest smell) Not to mention being exhausted from having to drive 30 mins to the rink and back we knew we wanted to order from the tavern and OMG! The food.. the food at the united tavern inside the hotel blew us away! I applaud the staff there as I know they are super busy but we really didn’t have to wait long for our food to be ready. Now everyone will always say out of town hockey tournaments are where the best memories are made and it was just that! The pool, the fitness Centre, the conference room kept all our kids happy. The hallways always filled with laughter. The staff were amazing too! Dealing with a hockey team full of teenagers could be tough but the staff were always friendly and welcoming. When it was time to leave & head home I said outloud on my way to check out how I would love to bring my younger kiddos and family back here to enjoy it even more without the trips to the arena 🤪. I 100% recommend to anyone with a family or even without to stay at the Canad Inn in Windsor Park.     Winnipeg 2025 trip to the Greycup festival

    This stay was honestly a fill-in for a few days on our trip. The location directly beside #59 hi-way was also a factor. I had read all of the one star reviews and found our experience was no way near close. Value for our 2 nights was the goal. The rooms were very clean, and quite. Considering there was a city wide party going on, the noise level was close to zero. With the friendly reception while checking in, and, adding the access to the lounge, Tavern United; the small casino, Playmakers Gaming Lounge; and the dining room, Aaltos; I wish we had found this first and stayed here for the whole trip. I would recommend this location in a heartbeat. They promised value and over delivered.

    An excellent Winnipeg hotel with all you can ask for on a short trip - comfortable, well-apportioned rooms, fitness centre, pool, restaurants with a variety of food, quietness, and a great ambience that is bound to be popular for everybody.

    Terrible customer service for events

    I do not recommend Canad Inns Destination Centre Windsor Park for events. We held a meeting for our association there and when my colleague tried to make some changes to the room, the onsite manager there came down and angrily accosted him and demanded a large change fee.In addition, we ordered water, tea, and coffee service. While the tea and coffee were provided at the modified time, we consistently had to prod the team there to provide water. After providing water in pitchers, they didn't provide an adequate number of glasses for our guests to use.On the plus side, the corporate event team was very responsive and thoughtful. If only the onsite team shared their commitment to customer service.Overall, if you have an event, I would recommend booking another location.
