    Dirty sheets with blood on them.

    Initially thought the hotel was fine. Room had been recently renovated and room seemed clean. The morning I was checking out I noticed something on the sheet by the end of the bed and when I pulled back the sheets there was someone's blood all over the sheets. I was appalled! The blood was not visible when bed was made and I only notice it when I pulled back the covers to make sure I hadn't left anything behind before I checked out. It looked as if someone has sat on the end of the bed during their menstrual period and stained the sheets. I realized I had slept in dirty sheets with blood on them. I felt sick. I did inform the front desk at check out and she said she would let housekeeping know and then put her head down and didn't look at me again. I just walked out. no "I'm sorry" anything. I will never, ever stay here again. Disgusted is not a strong enough word.

    First time there, and we’d certainly go back! The rooms were spacious and clean, including the bathroom. All the staff from front desk to housekeeping were incredible. A good sized breakfast buffet, including everything from fruits to sausages and eggs.

    This is a wonderful location if you are taking the CAT to Bar harbor. The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Great location for heading to the Yarmouth waterfront or exploring the area and visiting lighthouses. The only caution, if you book a 2nd floor room there are no elevators. Complimentary breakfast is outstanding. I would definitely recommend the property and stay again.

    This budget hotel is a solid choice to spend the night before catching the ferry to Maine.The woman working at the front desk was welcoming. Its location is good with a Jungle Jim's restaurant (kinda like an Applebees) across the highway and a Mary Brown's chicken next door.There's a complimentary breakfast, but I didn't check out and opted for something better elsewhere.

    This was a good inexpensive facility. Was very impressed that there were washcloths in the bathroom (difficult to find washcloths in motels and hotels these days). And was very impressed that there was a nightlight in the bathroom. In all our travels, this was a first! Staff at reception were great. Free breakfast included was good fair. Would definitely stay here again!
