    Where do you even begin worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at could nit pic a million things if you like having a good sleep this is not the place for you

    Quality Inn was priced in the lower price bracket. Although in the lower end of the price bracket, I feel it was still a little high for what you get and could be priced lower.It was convenient to be at one of the recognised locations for pick up for the different tours.

    Booked as the cheapest option I found in Yellowknife. It is located downtown and walkabout to a number of areas. Did take a taxi to get out to the large retail stores. Number of restaurant options were walkable as were a couple tourist stops in town. Was able to walk to Bullocks for fish and chips. Stayed one night and was only here to sleep. Check-in was smooth. Room was clean, wifi worked well. This is downtown so there is some activity in the area including in front of the hotel. There was police/ems attending to an incident in front of the hotel when I got home from supper, but at no point was I bothered or concerned. Exchanged pleasantries as I walked past people; no issues.

    This hotel is located in the busiest area of ​​Yellowknife. The low retaining wall is perfect for people to sit on, so every time I entered or exited the hotel I had to pass a group of odd strangers. One night I saw a fight taking place in front of the hotel in the middle of the night.The room service is terrible. No one came to empty the trash cans or replenish toilet paper for three days until I left the trash cans in the hallway and asked for toilet paper myself. The hotel provides shampoo and conditioner, but not the most commonly used shower gel.The central air conditioning was disabled and I had no control over the room temperature. Upon request, the hotel thoughtfully provided a portable heater. My room was equipped with a portable air conditioner with a vent inside the room.

    Needs a total renovation!

    I will say the staff was helpful and did their best considering the condition of the motel- it needs a massive renovation!! I didn’t want to walk on the carpet barefoot…the furniture was worm out - funny smell in the building - portable AC with pipes out open windows- homeless people outside begging- felt nervous to go out after dark - if you have OCD you won’t last a night here!
