This diving resort is ideally located along the west coast of Bonaire just steps from the capital city of Kralendijk. Guests may enjoy an easy 10-minute walk to the restaurants, bars, and shops of Bonaire's charming capital. The beachfront resort is approximately 20 m from the Calabas reef, making shore diving easy and convenient. The Salt Mountains are just 5 km away from the hotel.

Units include 150 rooms located in a 2-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

The pool area, which includes 22 indoor and outdoor pools, is perfect for exercising or just relaxing. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy tennis and beach volleyball. For a fee, cycling/mountain biking is also available. With aquafit or, for a fee, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sports options available to guests include yoga or, for a fee, a gym. After a long day, guests can relax in the wellness area, which features a spa and a sauna. Massage treatments are among the facilities available for an extra fee. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy their meals in the cosy atmosphere of the 2 restaurants, which are equipped with high chairs. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Special culinary options, such as diet meals, are also available. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    The Divi Flamingo was perfect for my vacation. I wan't an all inclusive service and a low key atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and helpful but left you alone to enjoy the snorkeling and local shops.

    Beautiful property. Great dive shop offering shore and boat diving. Location is perfect for walking to all “downtown” has to offer. Casino onsite for added entertainment but it does not detract from peacefulness and relaxation of the property. I’ve been coming here for years and it keeps getting better each time. Of note, larger pool under construction Sept. 2026, but other pool not crowded.

    Phenomenal stay! Had a very nice room close to the dive shop. The ladies in the dive shop are sweethearts! The breakfastis great. Special thank you to Richard the maintenance guy who was working on renovating one of the pools the resort has. great stay, I will be back!!

    One of the early owners at Flamingo and it has been many years since I was last at the resort. It still retains its charm as a mainly dive resort. I wish I had not waited so long! The resort staff are friendly, the grounds clean, and the sunsets are amazing! The two-bed rooms are updated, but small compared to other resorts. Good air conditioning, but they could do a better job with bathroom cleaning as there was a shower oder which we should have notified housekeeping.. Rooms have a refrigerator, microwave and stove top. I thought the food was expensive for the quality. The morning buffet with a large variety of fresh fruit, juices, variety of foods and order directly from the grill chief eggs, pancakes. french toast etc was best for the price. There iis a large market within walking distance. You can rent a car on premise and do recommend touring the island. for a day. End up at the south where there are donkeys everywhere and some small fun beach clubs. This is still about the dive experience and direct access to some of the best diving in the Caribbean.

    We have stayed at Divi Flamingo many times in the last 20 years and it feels like a second home. During this last trip my husband experienced such severe back pain he could barely walk. The staff at the front desk was wonderful helping me contact a doctor, arranging an appointment, and then assisting my husband from our upstairs room for transport to the doctor. I cannot express how much I appreciated their help in such a stressful situation. Throughout the rest of our trip both the dive staff and the hotel staff were great in their concern for our vacation enjoyment. We hope to return soon.
